Watched a replay on the game last night. It wasn’t as bad as it seemed in the moment.

Nuss had a bad game. That’s what it boils down to, and It happens. Take the bye week to get right and there’s still everything to play for. Image if these Tigers are 7-1 headed into Tuscaloosa in November. I’m believing it will happen.

Yes, since the aTm meltdown last year, it has happened a lot.

Let's pretend this happens (Kelly has proven it won't). Nuss will shite his pants in Tuscaloosa. We know this already. It will be Jarret Lee all over again.

So what exactly do you now feel better about after rewatching it?

That’s going to be the theme of every game until you bench him

Only Nuss? I think not and this is becoming a trend under Kelly and why LSU is 8-4, 9-3 every year not to mention Kelly himself told us this team will compete for a NC this year so I know they have the talent.

Yeah. I think this is the fundamental problem, well also the OL can’t run block.

I get why people are frustrated with the lack of offensive improvement, but let's not act like the season is over. If somehow we get the run game going and Nuss healthy over the next few weeks, we could go 3-1 in October and be right back in the mix when it matters most.

Maybe he's adding up the stats and now the Tigers have doubled their rushing!!!!!

A few more rewatches and they'll be #1 in the SEC!!!

he’s been bad for about 3.5/4 games. That doesn’t just “happen”.

Another poster made the comment that Nussmeier is closer to Jarret Lee than Joe Burrow and I think that is exactly right.

Then explain Sloan not having a good game

Then explain OL having a bad game

Bad QB play or bad OL play will make any OC look bad.

Our OL was having problems blocking Southeastern. I don't know how you fix that in season.

Yea I watched it too...

-Nuss is clearly injured and can't throw 40 yards down field

-Our O-line play is awful. I do think Curne looked a little better than Davis

-Play calling has no rhythm or intention to setup plays. Maybe the above 2 are affecting this? Maybe? But it was still criminal that we didn't try to run the ball more in the first half, especially with Nuss play hurt.

-Defense is still really good, we just can't have them on the field for 90+ plays and expect to hold a Kiffin offense under 20

He's struggling to make intermediate throws that were automatic last year. My best guess is that it's physical rather than mental but it's just a guess. But I'm pretty damn sure that he's having the same struggles in practice that we're seeing in games and he needs to sit until he works it out

I was being too hard on Lee. He always shite his pants against Bama, yet we wanted Lee in the NC game in 2012 lol.

At this point, I'm ok if I never see Nuss throw another pass off his backfoot into triple coverage while 2 other guys are wide open. I've had enough.

Dude, sober up.

That game was actually worse than it seemed. Have you heard the PFF grades? They were in the toilet for the O-line, Nuss and several guys on defense.

Ole Miss controlled that game nearly from start to finish. After the interception we were never a threat.

Bad OC play selection and scheme can make any QB and OL look bad.
