Playing Nuss absolutely could result in faster and more frequent 3 and outs or interceptions.
If everyone keeps thinking Nuss is going to keep throwing pics at an alarming rate then there is 10x as much data that says Daniels is not going to throw anymore TDs than 1/game (like 4 seasons worth)… You cant have it both ways.
So hell, bench em both and put in Collins…

Somehow, I don't think that's what you meant when you were talking about people on here "hating" Daniels.
Well, you would be wrong. Although I am sure there is always one or two of those hanging about, that's not what I see here. If you want to wade through some of my far too many previous posts, you find someplace where I tell someone that some of the people complaining about Daniels are posters known to be big fans of Rohan Davey which sort of blows the racial argument up except for those very few idiots.
It really does seem to be a few guys in one camp or the other who look for every deficiency in the opposite camp. I find it frustrating. The vitriol just goes overboard at times but that is generally true online these days or maybe I'm just turned into an old man telling you kids to get off my grass

BTW the whole hatred thing in reference to why he is not favored by many as our quarterback is such a lazy man's argument.
It is which is why I said it is few.

I don’t want to hear anything about LSU having elite receivers. On paper maybe but you don’t win on paper

Lose one more game — and Daniels becomes a handicap to the future —Nuss should play the rest of the season to get better & better. Win lose or draw at that point because we won’t be making the playoffs.

Doesnt matter how talented the receivers are if the qb cant get them the ball.
LSU could have Jerry Rice and Randy Moss in their prime and JD wouldnt be able to get them the ball!!

Good is a relative term... define good...
He is talented. He is not fast enough at reading the defense.

I think the frustration comes from the coaching staff not being willing to try anything different. This fact, in conjunction with the QB not progressing after this many years of college football is disgusting. He either needs to go in a complete different direction or the coaches need to. I traveled to Orlando to watch that shite and it certainly was not worth the money. I do agree with you that there are many other issues. QB is usually the focus and he is not a good one.

Did you actually watch Rice and Moss play? Did you miss how many times they bailed out their quarterbacks on poorly thrown balls?

Sorry inability to run the ball is a huge reason we lost. Couldn’t punch it in on the goal line early and failure to convert a 4th down. Coaches quickly decided we couldn’t run the ball and offense became even more predictable hi that’s possible.

Similarly, these are the reasons we lost the A&M game last year...stiff in game coaching.
And a QB who got worse BECAUSE HIS arse WAS HELD IN THR frickING POCKET AKA JOHNNY MANZIEL. His YPA was DOWN LAST SEASON TOOL.

Yes Shiner I am sure I saw Rice and Moss play more than you!
They did bail their qbs out often on poorly thrown balls but they have ball thrown to them to bail qb out!

Maybe. I was at the 1984 playoff game between La Tech and MSVS. Most of the hype centered around their coach and his run-n-shoot prototype offense that was going to revolutionize the game. It turned out Jerry Rice was carrying his arse. The Devils were favored but Tech beat them by forty something. Just killed them on both sides of the LOS. Rice still had over 150 yards receiving while getting drilled on every play under the old rules.

Saw Rice play against Southern 24 catches but again qb actuaaly threw him the ball. Willie "The Satellite" Totten

You left out QB play, OL play, misuse of Harold Perkins, and secondary.

Those were good enough to win. Remember, we were playing one of the top teams so we were going to trade blows.
