Didn't he also have the best drop % in the entire nation last year? He's got good hands, there are just a few cases of badly timed drops.

Yep, it was posted on here several months ago, his hands are probably his biggest asset, but again, people think because of 2 drops in 1 game he has "terrible hands"

I doubt he'll ever hit a high point as high as the crowd surfing moment, but if he can catch on and earn some $$ in the league, that won't be anything to sneeze at.

Why does Quinn get multiple favorable threads but Ben Simmons is almost universally reviled on here?

I agree. He single handedly made Bamas QB look better.

He had a couple of shots here to win a game....ge failed like the butch he is.

You can't say that with certainty. He probably won't break into to the top 3 spots but it's possible.

Head coach Jay Gruden referred to Quinn as a 'real lunch pail kinda guy. 1st one in last one out type. Like having a coach on the field.'

Another royal screw job by Miles. People wonder why he was gotten rid of.

...Because Quinn actually cared if LSU won games, while Ben was just hanging out.

OK. He catches the ball against Bama we win. Simple

Some of you guys are only interested in him because he is white. Change this dude’s color and no one would give a shite about him.

Your downvote confirms this.

He literally dropped one well thrown ball and one poorly thrown ball, it just happened to be when everyone was watching.

And wasn't it his freshman year?

No other non-QB has ever been held to higher standards than Quinn.

Quinn fricking sucked here. Yes we were struggling at qb...so be it. But when the gdamn ball hits your hands and you can help seal a major victory, and you drop it, you SUCK.

You probably need to calm down a little bit.

Can't believe our coaching staff back then was dumb enough to give up on him

They didn't give up on him. He had Dupre, Tyron Johnson, Diarse, Chark, Dural ahead of him.

Of course Dupre disappointed but I don't think any fans thought Quinn should've been ahead of any of those guys.

Not only that, on the second, the very next play Bama muffed a fumble inside their own 10, LSU got the ball and couldn't punch it in.

How does he compare to a guy like Brandon Stokley? Stokley had a very nice career in the league. I always thought of them as being similar.

not necessarily. after the drive with Trey's "drops" (one of which was a bad throw IMO), we got the ball back ON THE BAMA 6, Vadal got a penalty, we got backed up and took the lead on a FG.

Bama then got a FG just before the end of regulation.
