Yes as long as we avoid the unthinkable loss to ULM on November 20.

O has to get some credit for helping bring Burrow and Brady here, although he was mostly just going along with ideas Busch and Ensminger brought up. It turned out to be a once in a lifetime season with stats that broke all previous stats and a 15-0 team that will go down as the best college team of all time and the players off that team and the year prior and year after are taking the NFL by storm, so it wasn’t a fluke.
We have no way to know if ANY other coach would have actually performed better than O has, we can all speculate but without laying it out and playing it with another coach, we can never know that anyone would have definitely done better. There have been a lot of guys leave, either to the NFL, the portal, or whatever….There has been the plandemic and all the chaos it has caused on and off the field, adults and student athletes have lived through and dealt with one of the most controversial, heated political periods in their lifetime and the new NIL rules have affected athletes attitudes, desire to perform and mental approach. Add to that the fact that O hasn’t handled the success and limelight as well as could have and you have the situation we are faced with now. O is losing his dream job and LSU is seeking to get back to the top tier of college football.
But as LSU fans, regardless of who was coach in 2019 or who will be coach in 2022, we have a once in a lifetime season in the record book that NOBODY can take from us and with everything considered, Coach O and 2019 undefeated National Championship and the aftermath of it all were definitely worth it all.

All Joe Burrow.
And O got him here...had JB gone to Cincy does he win Heisman, NC, and get drafted 1st pick? I say no to all.

ABSOLUTELY! It was that good.
I've never spent a second of my life since thinking about Jan 9, 2012 or losing the greatest college football coach ever to the Miami Dolphins.

Yes but he lost focus the last 2 years...and made some horrible coaching hires..
But he's walking away with 17 million dollars....go figure

3. Making playing QB at LSU cool
I'm 49, and over the last 15 years, had you told me LSU would have a Heisman QB in the near future, I woulda spit pabst blue ribbon all over the place.

All Joe Burrow. The kid has made numerous unqualified coaches lots of money and continues to do so.
True! BUt without Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Moss, Helaire, and Brady, he would not have won the Heisman and would have been Ordinary Joe.
It takes a lot of good fortune to have his success.
Look what Chase has meant to him this season.

This has been asked 1000 times.
Everyone says yes.
Yes it was. You don’t trade a national championship.
