Yup, just look at all of them in the NFL and scattered throughout the first 2 rounds of the draft. I’ll trust the NFL draft and roster over your friend.

In a way, that kind of makes the OP’s point. Miles had dominant run games without elite NFL talent on the OL and even when teams knew we would be running the ball.

Miles had some flaws for sure, but leading a consistent and often-times dominant run game was not one of them.

I’d say Miles is one of the best in the business at building an Oline that can physically punish and run over people. Unfortunately, he’s just not very good at the whole forward pass and balanced offense thing.

Miles May or may not coach again, I would guess probably not, but I can guarantee one thing ... it won’t be while the free checks are still coming in from LSU.

Even Miles isn’t dumb enough to work for free, which is effectively what he’d be doing by taking a job during the buyout. He would never publicly admit it, but I’m pretty sure there came a point where he wanted to be fired by LSU.

And for critical thinkers, Therein lies another potential problem for A&M with the Jimbo contract.

He’s had like 3 OL’s that he has recruited in 11 years that have had long standing success in the nfl. I’m trying to think if he’s had any first round OL. I can’t think of any left tackles off the top of my head.

Thankfully for Moffit our OLs have been SEC caliber as a unit

You have got to be kidding, right?
Les should be called "Lucky Les" cause for all his dumb assed coaching he still managed to win lots of games over his career at LSU. Like I said, Lucky Les.

He was. And that is why his offenses were fairly predictable yet extremely effective and hard to stop. They lined up and knocked you off the ball and over the course of 60 minutes the defense is going to give way in some fashion.

You are being intellectually dishonest by ignoring La'el Collins. Dude was going to be a top 10-15 pick before the bullshite surrounding a dead THOT.

Nope, I don't think Google has ever heard of Paul Detsil, either.

What is wrong with you asking that question, are you nuts!? Less Miles was fired and not rehired because he cannot really coach.

It may be piss poor. But if Miles coaching record at LSU is "piss poor", that doesn't say much about the other coaches that LSU has had.

Miles is second in total wins, first in winning percentage for any coach that spent more than one year as the head coach. first in number of bowl wins and tied for second in bowl game winning percentage. He's also the only coach to take his team to 2 National Championships games.

There may be other records he holds that I didn't find.

If you're unhappy with Miles record, you must be living one unhappy life when it comes to LSU football.
