Additionally, quit asking for Miles or any other coach to be fired. Like you, I watched the game and wasn't happy with how we finished. But, perhaps unlike some of you, I saw glimmers of hope and believe that teams can improve when they work on correcting their mistakes.
We were up by nearly 3 touchdowns at halftime and let a less talented team decimated by suspensions RAIL us in the second half. I'm all for staying positive with the players but Miles needs to be held accountable. I'd be fine with them letting him go RIGHT NOW 1 game into the season.

Well said Gray Tiger. I was a die hard A&M fan for most of my life but have slowly converted to an LSU fanatic over the years. I moved here from Texas 10 years ago and started watching LSU because 1) not able to get many A&M games here. and 2) because year in and year out, LSU can certainly keep the ole ticker pumping! The exciting close games are what has endeared me to this team. Would I prefer many more blowout wins than we have had? Of course, but no one can deny that LSU almost always gives you something to talk about the next day. Good or bad.

Grey and converted,
You're right, of course. The Michigan AD probably asked the team to take a dive against App. State on the last play to put a little excitement in the program. I'll bet merchandise sales for the Wolverines went out the roof!
I felt the same way after Les put all the excitement in the Ole Miss game last year!
I wrote a big check to TAF and bought as many LSU jerseys as I could find!

Don't be silly.
If you have some documentation to prove that the Ole Miss loss and/or the tight game against UNC has or certainly will cause a drop in revenues, I'll be happy to read that. I am confident that as you earned your LSU degree you were taught how to research a topic and prepare a convincing presentation. But just posting foolishness doesn't bolster your position.

Quit living up to your name. I enjoyed the whole game. Could they have put it away? Certainly, But I was talking to a friend and we both agreed that fans were sitting on the edge of their seats. The network had to love the game because it kept the fans interested to the end. I am glad that LSU won. Could you post the Alabama scores on their way to the national championship last year. Most were nail biters.

Definitely the glimmer of hope I've been waiting for

Most of my friends from home are not LSU fans but even they had some good things to say about the game. We won, enjoy it and get ready for the next game. Do we have a lot of room for improvement? Of course we do. Did we improve from last year? I believe we did. As many have said before, time will tell.

Good post chicken. The negativity on this board is ridiculous.

Great Post Chicken!
LSU looks good up here in Memphis where the Ole Piss fans are having a classic melt down.
A win is a win, Go Tigers!
I will be at the Vandy game on Saturday!
