X 1000 chickenmeister!
Nail on the head. If people would just go back and watch the first 45 minutes of the game they would realize just how young and talented this team is. The possibilities are endless. Yes we finished sloppy, but that was a series of mistakes we can try to fix.
But we've hot all the talent and skill that anyone in the country has!

finally some sanity. Some encouraging things, some not so encouraging but clean up the TO's and crazy tarkenton-like scrambles and LSU will be fine. LSU played a ton of young guys, will only improve

Im assuming this goes for the anti-JL crowd too?

Good to see this Chicken........losing confidence in our staff is one thing but bashing the players is totally uncalled for.

Additionally, quit asking for Miles or any other coach to be fired. Like you, I watched the game and wasn't happy with how we finished. But, perhaps unlike some of you, I saw glimmers of hope and believe that teams can improve when they work on correcting their mistakes.

sadly though, BT and RobbBobb will have very little to post about.
I've never said any player sucks, ever.
However, you on the other hand..........

It was the first game. We are 1-0. Half the teams that played this past weekend cannot say that.

Also true. Although I hated Ridley leaving the ball on the ground, he ran with authority and hit the holes quickly. And there were holes, with 2 of their really good DL and 2 really good LB's among the ones that played. And we finally saw our elite athletes running wild in the open field. That was a breath of fresh air. Still the same ? I (and I think LM) started the season with. Can our QB get it done? I believe that JJ is a bright person (one brief personal conversation and from interviews), but I am not sure he can process things at game speed. There is a HUGE difference between overall IQ and how quickly a person processes things.

Thanks, Chicken.
I've always appreciated the "anything goes" nature of this board--it's not moderated by a bunch of puritans.
Simultaneously, the inane, Miles-bashing gets old--there's no substance to it and the constant repetition, the same idotic threads started hundreds of times, detracts from the board's quality.
A lot of these folks need to post to a thread already in existence, and not think they are Hemingway or Dostoevsky and start one hundred different threads.

So we can say that the coaches suck?

I'm with you, Chicken. The good stuff I saw looked better than the good stuff last year. Jefferson looked more confident. The running game worked a little better, minus the fumbles. The dline looked faster and we got to the QB more.
The mistakes at the end of the game can be fixed. Everything is fixable.
