...and are expecting to get their American flag back from the ex. You may want to have a priest exorcise it.

quote:

My divorce is getting finalized, and as a part of the settlement he wants this ugly American flag back. I took it from him when we separated because it was his favorite thing and I had been hanging it in my house as a trophy since.

This guy was abusive to me and I’d like him to suffer.

I will pay handsomely(?) to any witch who will curse the item for me before I have to provide it back to him.

I’m unsure on the market rate for curses but I am happy to negotiate between the 50-100 range for this service for an experienced witch to perform.

I would just like to take this opportunity to share my humble opinion with no experience in the matter and purely based on my family values as they were taught to me:

I think divorce is extremely difficult on the children involved, if any, and should be avoided for that reason barring extenuating circumstances.

He lives in Seattle. Sounds like he’s already cursed. Might as well just give him the flag at this point

I had some friends growing up that came from broken homes. That's all I really know about it is second-hand experience. But I believe it has a negative impact on the children involved.

That's just my personal opinion based on how I was raised. No offense.

I feel like there have been so many more this year. The post is either completely stupid or a hot take designed for engagement. But it rarely fails, it's some account thats very new with a small amount of posts.

If I was in need of around $100 and I lived in Seattle, I would definetly contact her, tell her I am... A witch? And then put a curse on the flag... As long as its with her.. but not tell her the last part just in case it actually works.. Which it will not, but again.. Just in case.

I went to go early vote today at the library and the line was out of the door and the folks in lawn chairs holding signs said it was an approximately 35-minute wait in line outside in the Texas sun, and that it was like that yesterday and Monday, so I'm gonna go tomorrow in the morning with my trusty voter registration card showing my precinct and my beautiful Texas drivers license.

I hope they make everyone show those documents.

I think it depends on just how toxic the relationship is and whether or not the kids would be better off in an environment where the mother and father have to continue living under the same roof.

I think, no matter what the mother and father do or what kind of relationship they have, their first priority should be their kids. There are a lot of shite kids who come from a two parent home. It seems like kids who are their parents only kids can be little shite heads and the best environment for kids is if their parents stay together for the right reasons and they have two or three siblings.. because they are forced to deal with each other... at the least, to some degree and that helps with interacting with others, etc. but there is no "one shoe fits all"
