I’ve been on this board for a few decades now and I’ve yet to see a single thread of an LSU fan criticizing any of the sports teams

It's because we just made the biggest and most surprising hire in the history of the basketball program.
It's also because we're playing Kentucky, a team that most fans don't know anything about and just assume they're bad because they're Kentucky. On paper, it doesn't look as appealing as a series against Mississippi State or Ole Miss or Tennessee or Arkansas.

LSU fans are passionate. That's why it's better than anywhere else when you win and worse than anywhere else when you lose. You know that when you come in. Choose to take the ride (job)or don't. This is not new so the people who take over programs here come in with eyes wide open
