Walker Howard probably won't redshirt in the end, right?

We are one ankle, etc away from him being backup.
It would be a good sign if we go without needing him this year

This place is a cesspool sometimes. The most negative place, I’ve ever seen sometimes. Everything has to be worst case scenario with you guys.

Who cares? Walker isn't staying here for 4 years anyway, he'll be in the nfl

It depends if both QBs get hurt. If they don't get hurt he will RS. Don't understand why this is that hard to grasp for people.

In a normal season, you don't need more than two QBs, and the backup is usually just for mop-up duty.

He absolutely will redshirt this year unless he is needed in more than 4 games due to injury or poor play.

Why would you not want to preserve an extra year? He may love LSU and want to stay. Didn't Andrew Luck play as a senior at Stanford a few years back when he was the first pick if he left early?

Unless he's needed to start, God forbid, he'll redshirt. Here's why... he can still play in 4 games this season and RS. Let's say he gets injured as a junior and his stock draft falls, he could then come back as a senior and get his stock back up.

less likely than likely...certainly not a foregone conclusion.

Do you think it was a surprise that a QB transferred? I think they planned to have 3 scholly QBs in the fall

Im.confused with your scenario talk. It's a legitimate situation that changes with a veterans departure.

Who said anything like that? Doesn't mean he won't redshirt....it means it's not a sure thing at this point in the SEC.

I hear both sides. Nothing is a sure thing. But if everyone stays healthy in the QB room you can probably bet on a Walker redshirt. But of course as we have seen crazy things happen (last year). But last year was an outlier for sure.
