All the arguments about JD and Nuss are irrelevant. Neither of those QBs are bringing LSU a NC. Walker is on a different level and can win the NC.

But he’s still not going to lose that redshirt this season.

The problem is if we ride with him and the other 2 transfer because of it, we’re left with no back ups if he gets hurt.

And he shouldn’t. Get him ready for next year.

Not even Ricky Collins? I mean he would be a true freshman in the same position that everyone has Howard in.

Agreed.

I really think he should start against UAB, play extensively in one SEC game, and start the bowl with its extra practices.

Take advantage of the 4-game rule, so he goes into 2023 as a RSFr with two starts and meaningful SEC snaps.

Thanks for the breaking news. Didn’t realize that the five star freshman QB was our future.

What makes you think this? If he was ready now, he would be playing. We always love the back up.

Obviously. I mean the way he has played this year how can he not be the future. His stats are ridiculous. Not an interception one on the year. Has a chance at 3 Heismans in a row at this rate

We have no idea if this is true or not.

It will be interesting to see if they play him in games towards the end of the year. If we are in contention for a bowl game or etc, he might only get mop up time, but if we only have 4 wins late in November, let it ride.

Agreed. Hopefully Bech stays around longer. They have a natural chemistry from high school

Next year we'll also have Rickie Collins. And you're being very disrespectful to Tavion Faulk, Matt O'Dowd, and George Hamsley

Y’all sure are placing a lot of hope on a guy that’s never even taken a snap.

He should have played most of the Southern and New Mexico games.

Then UAB and the bowl, which won’t be against an elite team. That way you have a guy with 4 training wheel games under his belt without burning the redshirt.

Were you worried about the backup in 2019. If you have the right guy you don’t worry about a backup. If you have to use a backup, you aren’t winning a championship anyway.
