Was listening to a recruiting reporter talk about Walker after a camp when he was 16. The guy said coaches there told him that Howard was more advanced in his understanding of the game and QB position than Peyton Manning was at that age. Of course all QBs have become more advanced now but it’s still a very positive endorsement.

After being sidelined for 4 weeks with an injury, he came back and passed for 510 yards vs East St John.

Would’ve had 600+ if not for drops

He really can sling it. And he has good mobility.

At least Burrow level athleticism

This has been preached about every single qb for the last 15 years.

His style of play is perfect for the modern game. It should be fairly easy to craft an offense around his abilities. Hopefully BK or the next OC isn't one of those guys who is caught up in

system and his system alone. Need to be flexible and play to your QB's strengths. We saw Joe Burrow blossom in a system that was more suited to his abilities.

And got hurt again. I hope that's not a recurring theme

I'm hopeful, but Nuss looked great in HS - a lot like Manziel. But when he played at LSU he couldn't hit a bullet with a barn door.
