JD and Nuss are better

Nuss is leaving too

They announced who the starter is already, and Nuss got in for half of 2 games behind that same starter. Hes going where he can get more reps

Can’t blame him. Trying to empathize and this year would be exactly like the last for him. That’s rough. He’s good enough to compete at a lot of places.

Well Jaime and walker shouldn’t ask too redshirt then cry about scout team.
He redshirted his freshman year like he asked. That really isn’t that big of an ask especially as a true freshman.

Kelly should’ve never brought in Daniels and he damn sure should not have let him stay this year. If Daniels doesn’t have a Heisman type year and LSU isn’t in the CFP, Kelly needs to be gone.

I agree. And that's to be expected. He's a freshman. Nuss looked like shite earlier this season, too.

Everybody has forgotten today the consensus view of Walker Howard that most of us shared all season long -- that Walker Howard is the QB of the future. 2 weeks ago, nobody thought he'd be starting next year.

But now that he's transferring .... everybody here now acts like he wasn't an exciting QB prospect just last week.

SMH.

And ANOTHER thing. Right now, we don't know if he's really in the portal -- Mike Scarborough says so -- meaning we don't really know.

ALSO, he may be in the portal and not transfer out.

Im sure Rickie Collins would have ran scout team in 2023. Amyway wish him the best this want be the 1st time or the last time a QB leaves. You can add a QB over night in portal with experience anyway.

People dont get that he spent a year not getting coached at The SEC level

Thats on Dumbrock

Because Dumbrock said out of his own mouth that he wasnt ready for the SEC game. It cost him Howard, and probably Nuss

Only first and second teams are with the coaches. Third string is with scouts. Collins would have been fourth and they would have been on scout together and that wouldn’t have made any difference.

That’s on him. He should have been a better player at his position. It’s not LSUs fault he is t good enough.

Nuss's dad asked for RS which is why he refused to play in the bowl game last year

[quote]He would have most assuredly stayed and developed if JD didn't come back. [/quote

Why? He would most assuredly still be sitting behind Nuss for 2 maybe even 3 years. Exactly how much difference was it going to make being 2nd string vs 3rd string next year? He isn’t good enough to be getting any significant playing time right now. That much is obvious from when he has played (like shite).
