No one hates CJJ. Why do the pumperrs wait for one good game then come out acting like d bags? If the tourney started today, we would be out.

That wasn't "one good game", it was TWO, in a row.

I regret to inform you that your recently-received "up" vote, was, in fact, a Steve Harvey-type mouse blunder, aiming for the red... :booboo

Why were people surprised when it took the team some time to begin to jell? Anyone with a basketball I.Q. over 70 should have expected team growing pain with up and down play.

There is a big difference between having time to jell and losing 3 games in a row to unranked teams including 2 at home, and 1 by 12 to College of Charlston, on the road.

We were 4-4 playing nobody ranked and only 3 teams with something resembling a basketball program. With the best player in the country playing on our team.

Clueless? I can't speak to most of these posters that are being realistic, but I'd bet my left nut I was going to LSU games before you were born. That was a good win last night, a real good win....but it wasn't like they were #1 in the nation...this doesn't seem like a typical ky team...maybe I'm wrong. Still a very quality win that LSU sorely needed.

Let me ask you a question, if someone asks you a 100 questions, and you get 98 wrong but finally answer a tough question, does that make you smart? Maybe the lightbulb came on for JJ, god I hope so. But, you are going to have to win a hell of a lot more than 2 games to determine that. I don't think you realize what kind of hole LSU is in...they will likely need to go 14-4 to even make the NCAA trny...they could get by with 13-5 or even 12-6 IF they beat fla and OU. Dude, Jones has been an awful bench coach. You site making the NCAA trny....whoppie shite...they should have, and they damn sure shouldn't have blown a HUGE lead against nc st last year. Please stop with the "Jones is great" theme. Great win, but he has been far from great and anyone with a clue knows it.

Yeah I think he has a lot of family members posting in here, and wouldn't be surprised if daddy dale himself wasn't. They think we are against him because we look at his entire resume not just one or two games. It's like the black jack dealer that had beat you 8 hands in a row...and then you finally win one and she brags saying see, you can win a hand, now we even.

Lol. This is not your parents or my college basketball. We are in a period where teams completely rebuild every year. JJ hasn't accomplished shite as an LSU basketball coach yet. I hope he does. But stop with the back to back shite. We lost both games and how many teams go? You act like this is unchartered territory. LSU was in the final four in 2006 and literally got hosed in 2009 in terms of seeding...winning the reg season and drawing an 8 seed in eventual nc north Carolinas bracket...giving them all they wanted. Just stop. This team has a long way to go before all the shite talking

Absolutely great win and hopefully we are starting something special and I like CJJ, but that was one shitty start to the season.

CJJ is the winningest coach in LSU basketball in his first 4 seasons.

I was shocked to hear this stat last night, given the CJJ hate here. Early season was a shitshow, but we had 3 freshman on the floor and no Hornsby, no Victor. This healthy version would easily be 12-2 at worst. If we keep the SEC losses to a half dozen or so, we're in. The presence of Simmons buys us a little forgiveness for our not-at-full-strength losses.

God damn you are stupid. You are comparing Jones to miles. Miles has won at the highest level winning multiple division and conference championships along with 2 nc appearances....he has won big for over a decade. JJ hasn't won shite yet, and his team has looked like shite this year up until the past two games...and we don't know anything about vandy, and this ky team won't even be top 10 after this week. Good god man....

CJJ getting two key players available, and having a few weeks to play together and allow CJJ the chance to work on his rotations, is huge. Having one that is CONSISTANT from outside, leads by hustle example and senior leadership. Add to that we get a low presence on offense, defense, and rebounding.

Having Victor and Hornsby not only brought their skills, but they allowed CJJ the options to rotate in a way to keep players fresh enough to play tenacious defense, which has been the formula for our last two victories.

CJJ has also gotten Simmons to apply his offensive skills to go along with his distribution talents.

Several bench players have improved and the depth allows for Jones to sit a player who does not hustle or play team ball. Over time it may sink in to those players what it will take to get more minutes. Thus the overall team improves. Time will tell if enough improvement occurs to complete a significant run, or we just have several good games.

But overall I'm pleased with our coaching and the recent results.

"Hater hating." It's how "true" fans celebrate.

Posters like you are worse than negatigers. Instead of posting a positive thread celebrating the win, you'd rather create more negativity by further dividing the fanbase.

No Hornsby or Victor then. Now the team is together

Well now he has 2 upvotes, because he's right. The so-called "true" fans are the most hateful on this board.

Do it for more than 1 game and not just b/c it is UK. No reason this team cant play like that for every game.

Dividing the fan base? 99% of intelligent people realize JJ has been sub par from a coaching standpoint. Those same 99% also hope he can get it together and keep it together. There is no hate here, just the reality of what Jones has done since he arrived here at LSU. He will need to win a trny game or two, with this lineup, in order to gain any coaching credibility. Those that say otherwise are tards or are family members of JJ. These guys sound just like om fans.. Bragging about beating LSU yet haven't sniffed a conf champ in 50+ years.

Good grief

Go back and reread what I posted

His best attribute as a coach is his recruiting abilities, and you're penalizing him for it. His in game coaching has been frustrating, but the year to year improvement of the program, until this season, has been consistent with reasonable expectations of rebuilding our terrible program.

We had 2 Wins in SEC play in 2010, 3 in 2011. We had 11 last year and already have 2 this year. The talent this program had when he took over was absolutely pathetic. He's done an outstanding job of bringing guys in, which should be applauded.

What shite talking?

And ; what does that have to do with the state of the program when JJ took over?

2005-2006 is the only time since 1993 where we have made back to back tourney appearances. This is not your daddy's LSU basketball program.

2006 was followed by 2 straight years of missing the tournament. 2009 was followed by 2-14 and 3-13.

Weird how you bend over backwards to defend Miles, yet won't give an inch to Coach Jones. I wonder what could possibly be the big difference between the two men...
