Wonder if this appeal will go as quickly as the Cam Newton situation? Cam ruled ineligible by Auburn one day and cleared by the NCAA the next...

If it's something that Miles is appealing, then it can't be TOO serious. If he just outright failed a class, there is nothing to appeal.

You do realize that just because Ridley is out, doesnt mean that Ford will get more carries.

especially if they are appealing, you can't appeal grades i wouldn't think. must be something like a paper or disagreement or maybe something way worse.

I guess the want to compete wasn't great enough. Didn't Ridley make a comment about Garret not taking care of business when he was cut?

I expect to see him play. Especially since they are already mentioning the appeal. Feel bad for the guy after the being such a good leader for LSU all year.

Judging by the responses on here it seems y'all are OK with Ridley being out for the game. Is this because your backups are that good?

I'd love for A&M to play LSU at their full strength so we know where each team stands ... is this going to be a story line for the game that A&M is playing a hindered LSU?

yes, but there is quality depth behind ridley...albeit mostly unproven depth.

It is never good to lose someone who has been the starter all year long, but there is almost too much RB talent waiting in the wings for their oppourtunity. Granted, I would love Ridley to be eligible for the game, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it if he can't play.

I'm pretty sure you can appeal a grade for any class. There has to be some kind of check system in place for the rare "out to get you" type of professor/teacher. However, if this is really about appealing a grade, his chances are probably slim. Maybe helped a bit because he's the starting RB on the football team, but still not good.

I don't see how you appeal grades. You either make them or you don't. I hope with all the entering NFL draft talk, he hasn't gotten mixed up with an agent.

My thoughts as well. Ridley did well for us, but Ford was starting to really come in at the end of the season. Mr. Ford, your time is now.
