How many weeks will NCSt be in the top 25 next year is a better question imo. Less subjective. Surely a great accomplishment for Wade even if it’s 1. I’ll take the over.

It’s a different level of comp.

ACC is all of a sudden trash.

I'll guess Will Wade and not an endorsement of him. If Daffy Duck was becoming head coach somewhere, I would put Daffy ahead of McMahon. Just an obvious truth.

This is a year to year thing so the argument is nonsensical. The SEC wasn’t the best conference last year and may not be next year so the argument is false.

What a revelation.

NC State 5 wins in a weak conference. LSU 3 wins in the strongest conference.

Curious what people think about who will have the bigger challenge NEXT season based on the potential talent of the roster and the competition

It depends on what the strengths of the conferences are next season not this season.

Yes I know. That's why I said the Words next season. This whole thread and topic is about Success of next season.
Just asking opinions. There's a lot of variables obviously.

But success depends on success not warped, irrelevant bias. If you made the argument that LSU had a better season than NC State last year because LSU was in a tougher conference even though NC State made the final 4 people would laugh at you. Not meaning you specifically, the preverbal you as in anyone.

I don't know who will be. Certainly NC State is in a much easier conference. BUT, THANK GOD he is hired and eventually we WON'T have to hear about fkn WW anymore. Jesus Christ the beta soy boys on here have cried like little bitches over this guy. A guy who has been on the bench for ONE NCAA TRNY win. Again, THANK GOD!

Yes. True. That's why I was curious how the people that have an opinion on it came to that conclusion. I Just find it interesting.

How is that not a big time job?

NC State is in the same tier as LSU. He will definitely benefit from inheriting a program that wasnt left in the same shape he left lsu

It’s hard to apply a universal standard because even avid fans don’t watch enough games. For example it’s hard to compare a Gonzaga, most years to an Auburn or Alabama. It’s not like pros where there’s a baseline of talent. Gonzaga IMO tends to get preferential seeding that helps them advance so their journey and hurdles are different and maybe lesser than the others. But if they’re making those deep runs does it balance out? It’s tough to gauge.

You were spiting off on here knocking LSUs history because we had never won a NC.

The fact that one of our fans thinks LSU MBB is on par with NC State is fricking insane. NC State’s 2 national titles objectively dwarf our Final Fours (as great as those were).

Yeah and We don't Even know for sure what the exact roster will look like for either team or How underclassmen will play and develop or How all that and more translates into the strength of the conferences. Easier to see who did more with what after the season is over..
But i find predictive opinions interesting.
