Up vote for Wade and downvote for Musselman. As of today with all we know about them and the past.

I’m going Musselman

Wade would've drawn up some play for us to score a bucket in the last 10 minutes of the NC ST. game.

The ONLY coach I would consider trading Wade for is Tony Bennett at wahoo, and I doubt I would do that. Keep in mind, I'm talking about the long haul, so that eliminates the obvious names the naysayers would throw at me.

For the peanut gallery that disagrees, you might want to compare Wade's first 6 years as a hc against Coach K's. We have the young Nick Saban of college basketball on our bench right now. The million dollar question is will he DOMINATE college basketball in Baton Rouge (hopefully) or elsewhere.

Will Wade has positioned LSUMBB in the top tier of the SEC. SEC champions in year 2? Finished tied for second place in Year 3? We are moving into the consistency that all us longtime LSUMBB fans have wanted and have not had since the period 1978-1992.

Wade is going to win his second conference title in his first 4 years at LSU this season. Musselman is a very good coach but he won’t win the SEC this year which will put him behinds Wade’s pace already. I’ll take Will Wade.

I really wanted lsu to hire musselman when we ousted johnny, but i would choose wade here easily. They both did it at smaller schools. Wade has done it at lsu, musselman has yet to do anything at arkansas.

Both would have, Musselman, is just better at doing it.

I'll take Wade overall though.

Musselman is a very good coach but Wade is what Lsu basketball needed.

At this point I wish we would have done Musselman. Less risk of really bad probation

Musselman is never winning the SEC at Arkansas. Wade won it in year 2. this thread is terrible.
