There are double digit posts from you over the last 2+ years claiming McMahon is a good coach if he would be adequately funded.
You aren’t intelligent enough to reconcile your attempts to be witty and sarcastic now with your extensive history of supporting the worst coach in the history of lsu basketball.

I agree that wade is controversial but in no world is he the worst. and I will always defend him

The same South Carolina that won 13 conference games and made the tournament in 2024? You mediocrity lovers never have been able to explain how or why their boosters decided to fund their basketball nil for just that particular season but not the ones before or after.
I honestly can't believe this is still coming up, but any issues we had with funding basketball, real or imagined or anywhere in between.......CMM was complicit in those issues. He had no interest in it and any failure in that he played a big role in that failure.
He may not have wanted to do it or liked to do it and he probably wasn't any good at it - whatever, in this day and age you have to do it and if you don't you will lose games and lose your job. Can't wait around for boosters to come bring you money, you have to go get it. This ain't Kentucky or Kansas.

Mcmahon’s teams were the worst teams in the sec. By definition it cant get worse than that, mediocrity lover.
You’re very weak minded and very dumb. No one knows, least of all you, how many people will be eligible, but the idea that it can’t get worse than McMahon is dumb and fantastical. The results against the SEC was terrible during McMahon, but if the worst case happens and we only can field the current 4 plus walkons, then it is a fantasy to think that it wouldn’t be even worse than those McMahon teams. That was my response to the point that it CAN’T get worse. Your hatred for CMM blinds you. The best coach in the world wouldn’t be able to do well. It would be an even more mediocre product.

Exactly.
SC has its best regular season in 25 years and gives its HC a $1M+ raise (annually) and contract extension. Yet, decides "Nah. We're good. Let's not spend any money on the players".

what were they paying relative to the league?

So the worst tenure in program history which included the worst conf record in program history twice is going to be surpassed by the coach with the highest win% in program history?

this is untrue of course.
you guys claimed McMahon was mismanaging massive talents like Corey chest. he failed at ole miss and is now at mcneese.

He was given the exact same entry contract Nate Oats was given salary wise only MM was given more years.

I mean the players.
for the record you were wrong about many things. for example mocking me for saying Corey chest was not good, and the problem was coaching, not recruiting. link provided on request.
I think you guys like to assume you know Xs and Os better than you do.
you also pretend to have access to player payment data.

This is sickening. Woodward was such a terrible AD. Getting rid of he and BK in the same week will turn out to be the turning point for this athletic program.
McMahon is the WORST coach of a major sport that has been at LSU in the last 50 years. The fact that he hasn’t caught on elsewhere yet is very telling. These guys live for coaching. They usually never want to take a year off.

The comment was made that it could not get worse. If he only gets the current 4 plus walkons, you should be able to answer the question for this coming season. He may go on to be very successful in future seasons, but the worst case for next season would be far worse than any McMahon seasons. We won't just lose SEC games. We'll break records for loss margins.

Well anyone who watches basketball knows what he does isn’t going to work regardless of talent.
Posted on 9/25/26 at 1:07 pm to Lapaz
Well you can hope that happens but comparing a tenure to your fantasy season is a false equivalence
Posted on 9/25/26 at 1:09 pm to jamarr
And even if Wade fields a roster of 4 scholarship players and 10 walkons (he won't); Basketball will still have a higher attendance (paid) than last year just based on season tickets sold.
I checked on the last day and except for behind the goal, there were only scattered single seats available in the lower bowl; and the available upper sections were 50% sold. So even if LSU sells zero single game tickets and zero visitor tickets, attendance will be up.

Even your favorite coach in the world, that can do no wrong, didn't coach in the 22-23 season, after getting fired. I guess that was telling too.

unlike you who said about Corey chest

Yea, he’s so terrible teams that are infinitely better than ours are paying him.
and

Can’t build anything losing guys like that
well ole miss lost him too and he downgraded to the southland conference
LINK
you guys are bad at player analysis. you say McMahon had great players, but where are they now?
Posted on 9/25/26 at 1:15 pm to jamarr
That’s not player analysis retard and it was you guys calling him an NBA player during his season here. The logic you’re creating in this straw man is the exact same logic you support when it comes to Jalen Reed so more hypocritical nonsense as usual.
