He has a career that he is building. LSU has been good for him and he has been good for LSU. Why shouldn't he love it. He has proven that he can build LSU into a national power.
This may be just a bump in the road, forgotten about once we make the final four.

The closest thing he said to being responsible and embarrassed is “I understand why the University” took the actions they took. Inferring he is responsible and embarrassed is a stretch.

I'm sure that he also like some of the athletes who will be back next year. The truth is that LSU still gives Wade a legit opportunity to develop a program that can win a national title. Unless a job opens at Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, or Kentucky, there isn't another job that is really an upgrade for him. Some of you act like the main reason that Will Wade came to LSU was so he could have a bromance with Joe Alleva.
Assuming that no further negative info comes out, LSU isn't going to fire him. If they were going to fire him, they'd have already done that. Will Wade is a winner, and he's a big moneymaker for the university in the long run. They aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, but Alleva and Alexander aren't dumb enough to fire him.
We just have to wait out the Dawkins trial. I know, though, that no one here can be patient, so we'll have these threads every single day.

Obviously, Wade would love to keep his current job and not have to start over at a lower level/pay grade, but can anyone actually refute that Wade loves the people here and coaching at LSU specifically. I don’t mean questioning whether or not Taz’s answer was just telling people what they want to hear. Can you actually articulate why he’s only here for the money?
