Thomas, Watford, Smart and Days. The rest were just role players at best. We had the weakest bench in the SEC Lack of depth was our downfall

There was never any attempt at developing the bench. Jalen Cook’s lack of playing time was criminal.

Oh come on. Just because guys aren’t superstars doesn’t mean they aren’t D1 players.

I thought Wade did fine this season. Good, not great. The roster had flaws, but he is responsible for some of those flaws.

This is true, and Gains ain’t got no business out there with his weight. They just push him out the way and do whatever they want...

name me one player other than the “ four” that would have got significant playing time on Arkansas or Alabama

To be fair I bet he thought he would get more from Shareef and Manning.

This is why LSU will never be a basketball school. Low expectations. At least 3 of those guys will be on NBA rosters next year.

good point. I think only Days comes back. WW is really going to have to coach his arse off next season to be competitive

Manning maybe but Shareef doesn’t have the build to complete at this level

Wouldn't that be Wade's fault then?

So you’re absolving the HC of fault because the roster HE recruited isn’t very deep?

This rosters was more (individually) talented than most. This simple truth is Wade has a big flaw in his philosophy (Defense) that is creating a ceiling on the program’s success.

So you're saying that Hyatt is not a d1 player because he's a role player? Leblanc, Who was a significant player at Georgetown before coming home?

Needs to recruit more skill to balance the athleticism

Recruit to roles, not just a bunch of tweezers

Perhaps. But it sure doesnt help when you are about to sign a good recruit Dick tweets out something negative against Wade.

Hyatt career stats 2.8 points 2.3 rebounds 0.3 assist. Leblanc career stats 3.2 points 4 rebounds...you’re right they are flame throwers not role players
