Gonna need to channel the power of the Rant big time for this one. FSU has one of the coolest college football traditions there is, can't wait to see it in person someday.

You need to almost double the LSU vote total just to pull even.

Seriously, I've been to a lot of major college venues, including Baton Rouge. I'll give ya the tailgating and crowd enthusiasm. We might equal that on a good day, but you consistently bring that EVERY game. (I lived in NO for 3 years, so I get why Louisiana and it's people are such fun loving, crazy types).

BUT..

I've never seen a pregame tradition like FSU's. It's really something to watch (unless Bert Reynolds stumbles out on the field and tries to plant the spear these days!) Colorado's might come close. That's a sight, seeing people try to run with a two ton Buffalo on the loose.

I agree that Chief Osceola with a flaming spear is a pretty cool pre-game. Both that and the War Chant are great traditions.

But, a 750 pound Siberian/Bengal Tiger in his own motorcade, the craziness of Death Valley, TGBFTL marching down victory hill, and above all, ABOVE ALL, the most anticipated, spine-tingling, pre-game pageantry - the Pre-game Stadium Salute/Hold That Tiger - is that chopped liver ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

You have to SEE AND HEAR the LSU Pregame to appreciate how awesome it is........
It makes "Dotting the I" laughable.
And Mike VI majestically encircling Death Valley at least compares favorably, if not more so, then "Ralphie", "Boomer Sooner", and even Chief Osceola.
