It actually killed me a little to see an LSU lineup and not see Crews' name in it.

It’s like ell being banned for opening day. Feels wrong.

VMI stole 190+ bases last year, don’t mind Milazzo behind the plate holding them
Posted on 2/16/24 at 12:39 pm to LSUJML
that looks like a world series lineup

Jones gets the first homer of the year today

I like this lineup. Power hitters anchoring the middle with speed at the top and bottom

Me too, Broski. This is the kind of Excel sheet I use to keep up with the lineup, and who's due up every inning. I'm still used to last year's team, it'll take a while to adjust.

Kling in the 8 hole is interdasting. Guess they're trying to keep the pressure off him but id rather see him at 9 to turn the lineup over

192/235 too, which is almost 82% success rate
That's insane, thats just short of 4 successful steals A GAME

VMI pitcher is interesting:
He hit .345/.436/.518 with 16 doubles and 6 HR last season
His pitching stats were not so hot... .337 batting average against with a 5.58 ERA, only 22 K in 40.1 IP
So without a doubt he probably goes 0 for 4 at the plate today but holds us to 2 runs through 5 innings or something

Called Braswell hitting leadoff weeks ago but Lester wanted to argue about it.

They very well may put a pressure test on our new infield early..
I also think we may try a little more running this yr

I kind of dig that hitting order. Seems like tough outs 1-9 and good ways to turn the lineup over.

Biggest surprise is Jake Brown. Not that he is in the lineup, but in the 2 hole. Shows what they think about him.

He’s protected by White. He will see pitches. I like it.

I don't mind it at all. I was just expecting Bingham or Pearson there.

I'm committing to being positive and constructive on here this year...no hate!
