His best pitcher threw a good game. And yet he goes to the mound acting like a 4 yr old that didn’t get a new Rainbow Bright toy for her birthday. Guy is the most unlikeable coach in the SEC with Nate Oats running a close 2nd. No way I would play for that clown. He’s a used car salesman at best.

Pitcher was trying to walk off the mound and he was telling him to stay there and hand the ball off to the next guy coming in. He’s definitely a huge douche, don’t get me wrong, but that’s not what was going on on right there.

You’re exactly right. He was yelling something like “give him the ball, give him the ball” as if taking the ball was some sign of weakness. It was an attempt to show strength when they had none

I thought their pitching coach was the real douche tonight.

Vitello is 100% John Kreese. Zero class.

Yes. But not for what he did at the mound. He probably has a rule like a lot of coaches that the pitcher be a good supportive teammate hand the ball to the reliever coming into the game.

Dollander was probably frustrated at being taken out and Vitello was reminding him to be a good team-mate. Nothing sinister to see here.

Always been a fan of one P handing it to the next, regardless of situation.

Even in his interview he is the exact opposite of the person we have at the helm.
Just an arrogant cocksucker to put it plainly. Not at all like able to outsiders. Maybe he likes it that way but I think he is just an arse.

Tennessee was never a program that bothered me much as an lsu fan. They have been down for so long in all the main sports that maybe their demeanor is some kind of edge. Take away last year in football along with the last couple in baseball and basketball and they’ve had little to cheer about since 1999. I don’t understand their fanbase arrogance in baseball. They have won basically nothing, especially when compared to the modern Lsu program.

New money. The interview with Palmer and their best writer sounded like someone wanting to be a victim. Sad

the douche coach did the right thing. Dollander lost the staring contest as White was approaching the plate looking for some violent revenge after getting hit the previous at bat.

True, but Dollander did kind of punk out when he got lifted.

Skenes is a phenomenal teammate, and as we now know, a much better pitcher.

You should’ve seen and heard them at the football game. On par with the gumps and jorts fans that particular day

The action is not questionable, it was the facial expression
and the angered delivery on Vitello's face.

Eventually this will catch up with Vitello, recruits don't want to play for that type of personality in regards to baseball. May work for football and has for Nick Saban but not as common with baseball
