I've been a long time lurker on this board (mainly because of the Fark Board and you ruining Oregon), but I'm finally making it to a game. But I happen to be rooting for the opposition. I will be going to the UW game and I was wondering where the visiting team/fans usually make their hotel location? I'm sure a van down by the river will be a popular answer, but I am ligitmately wondering. Thanks!!!

Any of the hotels on Airline Hwy in north Baton Rouge, preferably near Scotlandville (lots of people of Scottish descent live there) would be an ideal place to stay for a weekend....

Florida Boulevard

It's considered the perfect area to walk around at night.

i really don't think you can beat the Starring Inn on Starring Lane for their first rate accommodations ... and how about that easy access to campus !

Ignore some of these guy.

Try this one: real close to the campus --not sure if the teams stays here but its only abuot 3 miles from Tiger Stadium and LSU:

Staring Motel (225)766-5675. Enjoy.

Absolutely the best and most convenient to LSU. Also, they give a discount if you bring your own sheets....

Anything near Gardere is what I would recommend. All the amenities you could possibly desire, very safe location, and it's a really friendly neighborhood

Welcome

You caught us a at a really bad time after we failed to make the CWS yesterday.

The teams generally stay at one of the 12 hotels off College Dr by the interstate. Doubletree is new. Hampton is a good value. If you're team is staying at one of the other ones, it's walking distance. Enjoy!

Dang you guys are brutal this morning. Don't trust any information being given. These guys are being a$$holes. That being said, I have no idea which hotel your team will be staying at for the game. Sorry

Look on the bright side: if your team wins, the LSU fans will ask them to do a Victory Lap around Tiger Stadium.

If you're going to stay for the entire week I would recommend Crown Efficiency. Within walking distance to the Bellemont and, Dancers.

Thanks, I'm also trying our fan base, but I thought I'd try here too. I knew there would be 20 flames and a couple answers worth reading so we are pretty much where I thought we'd be. Thanks and I will say that after the game in Seattle and on the Seattle times board I was impressed by the fan base being good sports on the boards.
