So does someone have a pic of this supposed view from the backfield that shows Mond's knee clearly down on the ground?

can we drop it please?
with that game and the bb team dropping two straight, this is truly a miserable place

literally every view they showed on TV was from the backfield

Stop! That's not the questionable call. From the replay his knee was down. There are plenty others that need bitching about.

Not sure, but the fact that the refs overturned the call on the field as to say he 100% regained possession pre knee coming up is absurd. Especially in the context of the catch fumble in overtime.

My biggest gripe is not so much about the call, but rather the seemingly arbitrary nature the "mysterious" group in Birmingham goes about deciding which plays to review and which plays to not review.
We hear the mantra that "every play is reviewed". Frankly, (and this is not just limited to LSU) after watching many SEC there still seems to be zero uniformity as to when "Birmingham" will unilaterally step in and when they won't. Plus, is there any other major sport (besides college football) where a group of people watching on TV hundreds of miles away can UNILATERALLY step in make game, perhaps season changing calls that the game officials did not make?
At least with the NFL and MLB, there seems to be some uniformity to the process. Here, there appears to be none.

If they call it right or wrong, it doesn't even matter, either way we would have won. What killed us is the free timeout they gave aggies by reviewing the play and only running off 10 seconds. Allowed them to call a play and reset. It was one of about 20 bad breaks that went against us in the last few minutes. Worst officiated game ive ever seen.
SEC refs are awful.

He was down, that is not worth arguing over.
If you want to be upset about something with that play its that if the play had actually happened as it did in the end with him being considered down. Its that they should have lost WAY more time off the clock than they did.
Realistically the players would need to rush to the line get a play from the sideline ASAP and try and execute all while the clock was churning. Instead they got a free (long) time out and a chance to regroup and come with an exact play.
They should have been left with 12-15 seconds and no organized play. Instead they were given 26 seconds and about 3-4 minutes to regroup.
Be upset about that.

To say that call on Mond was not questionable is bullshite. You cannot say beyond a shadow of a doubt that his knee touched the ground and therefore the ruling of an INT should have stood

NHL. All reviews are done in Toronto.

I wanted to see a pic to see if 1) his knee was clearly on the ground and 2) if he had possession while his knee was on the ground.

add in the Pelicans getting their arse kicked by two shitty east teams to fall back to .500 instead of being 4 games over .500, and then the Saints not playing on Sunday to lift everybody's spirits, it was a very shitty weekend.
