Move if necessary-I only read the rant and recruiting boards, but the coach's comments on negativity seemed rant worthy.

Do you read this board?

Here's a hint: potential recruits do.

Since it is rigged, what difference does it make. I would choose to go to Bama or Florida since it is rigged in their favor by the SEC and they have their coaches and the refs backing them.

Your the one that is stupid if you can't see my point. I guess I will have to spell it out for you. I am talking about the rampant negativity on this board toward LSU players and coaches.

Do you read this board?

Bc i see a lot of passionate fans speaking their minds whether it be positive or negative about the head coach.

What they all have in common is love for LSU.
I dont think the people talking about les miles deficiences dont care about lsu and spend their time to come on here to talk about a program they dont care about.

thats the problem
The blind les miles supporters view anything negative about les miles as proof that the person is not a real fan. And must support any decision by the head coach whether right or wrong.

OMFG. Idiots will say anything. Anything to prove their point. Anything. I wish they had an IQ store.

I liked what the coach had to say. The fact that he selflessly spoke his mind/heart for the benefit of his program's future is commendable.

Relevant to both the video and how potential recruits look at the fanbase, online or IRL - I posted this in another thread earlier today:

quote:

quote:

I know this is horrible but the loss to Bama has just killed it for me this season.

..........and I'm concerned this will be the sentiment of many.

Well then you and the others like you are not real fans. You'll go to a game and loudly support a "winner" but stay home and sulk for a #8 ranked 7-2 "Loser".. You are only a fan of the team so that YOU have something to brag about.

ANYBODY WHO HAS TAKES THIS ATTITUDE INTO ANY OTHER FACET OF THEIR LIFE IS DESTINED TO BE A LONELY, DEPRESSED LITTLE BITCH.

Adversity is what makes you grow mentally tough. The support of those around you gives you the the strength to overcome adversity. If you want this team to achieve more in the future - the time to support them is NOW.

Now if that doesn't motivate you to show up, how about this - There is no doubt that Tiger Stadium has an increased home-field advantage whenever the crowd is in full swing. We NEED to win out to secure a high-level bowl berth. How we finish this year directly affects our ranking at the beginning of next year. I don't want to see us off the AP radar at the end of the season again... Start strong, finish strong!

Oh, and FWIW - there are still a bunch of unsigned recruits out there who haven't been to an LSU game. I would think that a full stadium would have more appeal than one that isn't....
