OP - My father in law says that he's convinced that the AD pays kids on campus to get on here and the Lair and defend Miles. I used to think it couldn't be possible, until I read your responses. People challenge you over and over again with reasoned responses and all you've got is your talking points, which you won't waver from. Did you learn this in Political Correctness 2205? Its not a real class - don't bother looking.
You might have a future working for James Carville.

Just cite some comprehensive statistics to support your opinions and this will all be over.
I'm guessing you can't do that. Challenge: Issued.

Stupid question. If that's all we were dealing with, this thread wouldn't exist, and some of you wouldn't be so uncomfortable answering my direct question.
I will try another "stupid" question.
Do you criticize the players?

I enjoy asking Miles fanboys about 1/9/12. They cringe and then immediately hit the talking points. Comical.

I'm nearing twice the age of some of them, so usually such criticism is outside the boundaries of what makes the sport fun for me to follow.

LSU got beat. I got over it the same time Jordan Jefferson did.
JJ looks at that game in a more mature manner than you do. Think about that and try not to hang yourself with your belt.

9 pages and counting...the Rant is in full effect!!
LSU has an excellent coaching staff...
Our two line coaches got their asses handed to them this past week...we didn't fire off the ball on offense or defense...Those on this board who know anything about football know if you lose the line of scrimmage, you have lost...
I watched plays where the box was not stacked on against the offensive line and yet our all conference linemen couldn't blow holes..
Defensive linemen getting pushed back two and three yards per play...
Player Harris vs. Jennings, throwing more intermediate routes have nothing to do with basic holding the point of attach and blocking and tackling...
Brick and Grimes are very capable and need to earn their paychecks

Okay I'll answer the question. Does he have a good record in the past? Sure. So why am I worried? It's very arguable that Miles has peaked is in on the way down. You might have heard of what everyone else is looking in and calling "the decline." It's very hard to argue against that with us looking like we don't even belong in the same league as Mississippi State at home. Keep in mind this is what many considered to be the worst team in the West this year, and Arkansas is making a strong case supporting that. If Jennings or Harris do not pan out, we are in bad shape for at least the next 2 years. I think you'll understand why many question Miles' ability to develop these guys. We have so many glaring holes in this team that it's hard to see when it will be turned around and have us competing for SEC West championships again. We're already out of contention after 1 week of SEC play. Think about that.

You are clearly more personally invested in what a bunch of 20 year old kids do on a football field than I am.

Les has a higher winning percentage with his own players than any other LSU coach has had with his own players.

You're not getting off with a deflection. Answer the question. Are you being paid by the AD or anyone related to Les?
I have already addressed your faulty analysis methodology of relying only on W/L records, but I will give you one more chance to get it. Larry Coker was 60-15 for a .800 winning percentage at Miami, with a National Championship and an 2nd appearance in the game. Yet despite this, he was fired. Why you might ask? BECAUSE W/L RECORD IS NOT EVERYTHING. Do you understand now?

You are arguing with the biggest troll pumper on this site. Don't even bother.

Reasonable take. I think you're too worried, but you never know.
You're definitely not one of the dickheads I give e-noogies to.

Coker regressed four of his five successive seasons and never once improved his record and lost six games his final season. The minute this is true of Miles is the minute I trust the AD to turn up the heat and replace Les.
You don't understand your own point. You have failed in this argument.

You do know miami hasnt been back since rt? i like how you use firing a coach of a program that tanks after as a solid reason o be concerned about miles.

Saban didnt at LSU. There pretty simple. Why do you think LSU has all this talent? Do other teams not have talent? Bama? Auburn? UGA? UF? USCe? TAMU? What about ohio state? USC, ND, UT, OU?

Honesly - do you really not see that LSU has regressed since 01/09? If so, you are delusional. Go back and look at the game highlights from 2011 and tell me that this team looks remotely as good as the 2011 team.
You previously stated that W/L was everything. You can't be serious that Coker regressed and that disallows comparing his firing despite his W/L percentage. You just don't want to address it becuase it doesn't match up with your flawed methodology. Face it, you are wrong and wasting our time with nonsense.
You are once again deflecting and triying to not address the real issue. Are you paid by the AD or a friend of Les?
