The heavy money (professional) is on arkansas.

The weekend warrior money is on LSU.

Didn't Arkansas score 31 points against Bama? Plus Ranters think LSU has no offense, so?

Why would cold weather effect LSU more than Arkansas? This will be the coldest game this year for them too.

i think you are missing a few points

1) never bet on your own team unless you are REALLY REALLY SURE and/or they are on a run like the 2003 team i made a ton on. remove all emotions. it is very hard to do that with your own team.

2) There are much better games and sports to be betting on right now

Much safer bets and better risks IF you are really gonna put alot of money on them. Even if you win i cannot see how LSU right now would be deemed one of the safest wagers right now based on trends of their performance ATS or overall.

but hey knock yourself out

They are 1-0 and 1-0 against the spread.

I dont gamble much if at all. what the frick does that mean
If there were 10 bets then 7 people bet on LSU and the spread.

Imagine that each one of those bets were $1.

3 of the 10 bets accounted for 8 of the 10 dollars.
7 of the 10 bets accounted for 2 of the 10 dollars.

So essentially the average everyday joe bets on LSU to cover. The dude that does it for a living bet on Arkansas to cover.

So maybe the OP bets $20 bucks because he thinks LSU is going to cover.

Some dude that lives in Vegas and does it for a living is betting $2000 that Arkansas is going to cover.

I wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole.

There’s a lot of factors working against LSU.

-cold weather
-road game
-week after bama loss

Any one of those 3 factors could make a close game, all 3 together make it a no-go

Yep, and has absolutely nothing to do with this game!

If that's how you evaluate betting, good luck.

banged up from Bama

LSU isn't "banged" up from Alabama. They barely played much in the 4th quarter and there wasn't any injuries. Coach O even said the team was healthy after the game.

Saying the team is banged up headed into Arkansas is an excuse.

LSU basketball is an 11 point favorite tonight.

The LSU/Arkansas spread is not 11.

i actually agree with vegas and most objective people will as well

im expecting a 21-17 ball game, they will be able to make it close because of our unimaginative and oh so predictable offense but we still win it ugly

Coach O is also 7-0 as the head/interim coach of LSU after the team comes off a loss.

LSU has outscored their opponets 255-124 coming off a loss in that span including two wins against Arkansas following Alabama.
W 33-10 Arkansas
W 38-10 @Arkansas

IMO, Arkansas is easily the worst team in the SEC and has one of the worst run defenses in the country. LSU will run Brossette CEH all day on them.

Which book is giving this line? Would be a middle, I have William Hill with LSU -13 this morning and -12 now.
