In like Matt Flynn. Party of five, but I also know of large groups going for both bachelor and bachelorette parties (unattached parties).

SWA 11:30 direct from Nola. Sitting in Section T, Row 70. Should I bring my mountain climbing shoes?

Four of us heading up from Houma, LA. Flying out tomorrow morning. Playing Golf on Thursday at Hermitage. We're staying downtown right off of Broadway. Plan on lots of bar-hopping and drinking.

Perfect plan.

Hermitage is in fantastic condition FWIW. Or it was last week. We haven't had any rain though.

General's Retreat or President's Reserve?

Driving up Thursday afternoon from the northshore. Sitting in section R row 53. Definitely getting some hot chicken, and we will party after a win Saturday on Broadway!

Go to Prince's to get the real thing.

And take some heartburn meds.

For those in town but not attending the game in person, here’s my .02 on watching the game from the other thread:

Tootsies is a fun spot but tbh it’s not an ideal spot to watch a game. If you’re Downtown I’d highly recommend Barlines (Sports bar at The Omni) or possibly Downtown Sporting Club. Most other bars will already have live music going.

Know about 20 LSU fans going to the game. Half are local and the other half are coming in from out of town.

I know it’s early but would like to check out the tailgate scene prior to kickoff. Is it worth it? Should we just drink at a bar prior and roll in for game time?
