Vandy coach only rebuilt a moribund program in less than 2 years
Did he lose his starting point guard and best forward to season ending injuries? Asking for a friend.

Nwoko missed the season I could swear I saw him play every game and he was easily LSUs best forward but I know u never let facts and logic keep u from making excuses for your daddy Mcloser! Tigersbb.

Sutton and even Tamba put up numbers to offset Reed’s loss. Nwoko at times looked more dominant than Reed ever has. You may need to have a word with your fellow McMan on page 1 who had the audacity to refer to him as “best bench player” although i see you have pivoted from “top 2 player” to “best forward.”

What about last season? In year one? Without 10 million dollars?
McMahon needs 30 million and 10 well rested bubble boys to even think about sneaking into the NCAA tournament…and honest to god it’s still not even a lock that he makes the postseason lmao

Step right up McMen and spin the Jalen Reed wheel of wonder! What will he be today? I’d love a good rim protector!

I just hope if we do decide to keep McMahon we allocate the NIL and revenue share elsewhere. He had his chance to not piss himself and it’s genuinely disgusting he might waste another 10 million from the university.
While I want basketball to return so badly at least temporarily give the rev share to more deserving coaches.

You could tell early on that Reed was not going to be capable of playing. McMahon knew that going in. It wasn’t a loss. Thomas was the major loss but even with him this team was still not capable of beating equally talented teams.

It does not take 4 or 5 years to build a winning program that is such HORSE shite and that is the fricking excuse they keep using for McClown,Golden at Florida was hired the same time as McClown he's already won a national title. The Vanderbilt coach is in his 2nd year and went to the ncca tournament last year. Bucky at Texas A&M is going to go to the tournament in his 1st year and he had to replace the ENTIRE roster when he was hired, everybody left when buzz Williams left! Stop making excuses for the worst coach in college basketball he can't even get his team to a 500 record overall and in the conference. Last place in year 4 is absolutely unacceptable and the hammer needs to drop you cannot keep accepting how bad he is! When your coach says to the media after you lose the game" I don't know why we can't win,I don't have any answers." TIME FOR HIM TO GO!!!!!! Hey coach you know why you can't win your not good enough, hello THROW OUT THE TRASH NOW!!! Getout McClown and don't fricking come back!!!!

Wade won’t win here now, men’s bb is not a top sport at lsu, those days are over. Downvote away but the facts prove me correct. Best we can hope for is a tourney courtesy appearance every other year.

Once again the emotional bitches rear their ugly head. I’m talking about this year. And Reed still recovering from injury was avg 10ppg and 6rpg. Don’t know where he would have ended up as the year went on and of course neither do any of you.

What do you think this year’s SEC record would be with Reed and Thomas?
Posted on 3/14/26 at 3:52 pm to saturncube21
I think they win 8-10 in SEC. I think they are definitely in the tournament with them healthy.

Against tarleton st, uno, omaha, fiu, alcorn st and Drake.

Again if you weren’t such emotional bitches your reading comprehension level wouldn’t be 5th grade. I’m well aware of the competition that is why I said you don’t know where he would have been as he got stronger during the season. I think those are easily attainable numbers in the SEC if healthy.

lol the lack of self awareness and level of projection is stunning

We understand what you’re saying. LSU isn’t going to the NCAA tournament with the two healthy. As already pointed out Jalen Reed is not even that good

Give him $750k total for the whole roster and make him play a real OOC schedule. Not 27 SWAC games.
If he wont recognize on his own that he’s not cut out for this, make it completely miserable for him.
