Okay, let me explain it to you.

If you have an offense that you call, and your 5th year QB refuses to throw it downfield, and is 2/19 on throws over 25 yards, and what point do you just adjust your play calling?

Because even if we need 20 yards, we've seen Nuss throw it to the check down. So why not just call plays that force him to get the ball to Brown or Anderson or Green and see if they can out athlete everyone and get a first down.

That's what Sloans doing.

no one is talking about 3rd and 25.

I see the OL being 80% of the problem. They cannot block anyone.

Hard to make chicken salad out of chicken shite, I agree. Even more frustrating is that you have a 5 star who is clearly better than the guys who are starting and it takes an injury for him to finally see the field.

MVB should have been given some change of pace snaps, Berry is finally getting some PT, but the unwillingness to mix things up has been the most maddening.

Ive been telling yall for WEEKS that guys are open downfield.

I somehow watched the game yesterday from the camera on the drone or whatever that showed the entire field from behind the QB. I accidentally put it on this channel and it was awesome.

Dudes were running wide open all night and Nuss doesn’t even see them. I mean all night.

You’d have 2 ends in wide 9 and Nuss would back right into them on every play, rather than take one step up into the pocket.

Dude is really not a good football player. Add that to his bonehead shite he does like a timeout on 3rd and 19 and remember this dude is a senior.

He sucks. Plain and simple. His dogshit play torpedoed the entire season.

Van Buren doesn’t fit Kelli‘s idea of an offense. Kelly’s idea of an offense is a drop back passer, immobile who can’t run.

Its the geriatric Midwest way.
Disagree 1 million percent. The only time Kelly ran a offense without a dual threat QB, was when he had Tommy Rees. Other than that, every single year there was at least one QB running the football.

against a defense that was starting to substitute and let off the gas.
Herbstreit made mention several times in the 4th late in the game how hard the A&M guys were still playing.

Nuss is allowed to check ojt of run plays at the line if he "sees" something in the defensive coverages. He just likes having the ball in his hands though.

How about this .. Hire Lane K for 11 million as O C for 3 years and guarantee him H C after that … Fire B K and buyout is much less …

He should have been in for Ole Miss game. Defense was dominating early. We could have built a lead.

Was that a message from Sloan?

The same Sloan who called a shotgun QB draw with Nuss inside the 5? VB could probably help Sloan out,, but Sloan is also just bad with his play calls.

Yes he can and we’ve seen him make it before. LSU simply doesn’t run a lot of downfield plays over the middle because 1) they don’t have the time to or 2) they are worried about Nuss making a bad decision.

Quote:MVB by all accounts was better than Pussmeier in the spring, and he’s certainly better than him now. Even if he wasn’t, most fans want him because at least he isn’t scared to fricking death. Maybe if Puss drew some more dicks on his face before the game

Every time I mean every time Puss gets hit, it's like Homicide You'd think 2 people from the sideline are running out on the field with a stretcher. Puss gets up and starts limping around like a truck hit 'em. You never saw that from Joe or Jayden.

Still have to make the throw and coverage was good. Ball was on the money in the middle of the field. Something we e seen little of all year.
MVB did it against SLU too. I also gives us a chance when the rush gets to him. Nuss runs backwards faster than he runs forward.

He’s been the better option all year long and just sat there. You think he’s going to repay that with loyalty? This is 2025, he’s gone and wishes he never would have wasted any time here. They damn sure haven’t developed him

A throw Nuss has made many times. VB was throwing against backups.
