The M24 Chaffee (officially light tank M24) was an American light tank used during the later part of World War II; it was also used in post–World War II conflicts including the Korean War, and by the French in the War in Algeria and the First Indochina War. In British service it was given the service name Chaffee after the United States Army general, Adna R. Chaffee Jr., who helped develop the use of tanks in the United States armed forces. Although the M41 Walker Bulldog was developed as a replacement, M24s were not mostly removed from U.S. and NATO armies until the 1960s and remained in service with some Third World countries.

Indeed it is. I stopped in at The Model Box recently and they had them. It’s a fantastic kit. For one, I’m glad Tamiya has got away from the “rubber band” tracks. And the overall fit was exactly what you’d expect from Tamiya. I highly recommend adding this kit to your stash.

I may have to adopt this as my tagline.

Thanks. If you want to develop patience, building scale models is a great place to start.
Actually that’s one of the things I enjoy about this hobby. It makes me slow down. And you’re always learning new techniques and build strategies.

I appreciate that. But I’m a novice compared to some others. There are some truly talented model builders out there.
