It’s supposed to be 100 degrees all week with very slim chances of rain. If you have tix on the East side you’ll be staring into the sun so be prepared. I’m probably going down to represent the Tigers and maybe I’ll get lucky and score a ticket. Luckily I can park at work and it’s a quick walk . If no tix I can get back home and throw some steaks on . Geaux Tigers and crush the sips .

We recently had a streak of 20-something days in a row with highs of at least 100 degrees. It’s been brutally hot. Even at 10pm it’s still in the upper 90’s.

Austin isn't dry heat. It's humid heat, maybe a bit less humid than BR.

Depending where on the east side, there will be decent shade once the sun drops below west uppers. Game time is 6:30 so that drop will hopefully happen pretty quickly after kickoff.

It will be hotter than hell, though, and it will still be hot after sunset.

It hasn't rained in like 9 weeks. My grass is dryer than the greenbelt

I lived there in the Summer of 2011.

90 days of at least 100F (still a record), and 26 of those days were 105F or hotter (still a record).

I grew up in South La and now live in south Texas and I don't get what people are trying to say by saying it's a dry heat. 94 and 95% humidity and 105 with 70% humidity both equally suck balls.

So they both should be used to it. It’s a wash.

I know when I worked in Austin, TX back around 2000-2002, it was 112 degrees one day, not by heat index and it was humid but not like La, humidity. However, that was the hottest day I experienced in all my life. When the wind blew it felt like a heater blowing on you at 112 degrees.

not it’s not. Austin and DFW both have significant humidity during the summer. not as much as Houston, but still significant. the only time it’s actually “dry” is during the dead of winter during a large cold front from the rockies

I live in Waco and have for 5 years now. The humidity for the most part is not nearly as bad as BR/Houston/Nola, but it's still hot as balls.

That’s good. Based on our rushing, we don’t look to be as ready for a rain-soaked rushing battle as we do for a clear-weather game. Not saying we couldn’t still win, but I think we’d be 80% favored with perfect skies and around 51-60% vs Texas in a mudder.

It's going to be hot as balls and the people who are calling it a "dry heat" as if that makes it better are going to be severely disappointed.
