Not a dick move at all. If we host this game I'm sure all proceeds over expense will be given to USC for relief efforts.

Why should LSU agree to lose a home game in 2020? Will USC give us the proceeds from that game? Hell no!

It's a tragedy what happened but if we agree to go there then we would end up being the ones that lose out financially

LSU is also telling USC in no uncertain terms it will not switch the schedule so that LSU will have to go to Columbia to make up the game. USC would have to come to Baton Rouge again.

dick move

I thought so too, until I realized that would give us 5 road games that year.

Then LSU better help Ray Tanner in finding a neutral site.

Exactly. If we agreed to the switch, our 2020 road schedule would be:

@ Auburn
@ Florida
@ Arkansas
@ Texas A&M
@ South Carolina

With home games against
Bama
Miss. St.
Ole Miss

Atlanta was ruled out days ago because Georgia State has a home game at 3:30.

And if you don't switch, South Carolina gets 5 away games in 2020.

@ Fla, @ Vandy, @ Kentucky, @ LSU, @ Clemson

the neutral site at some of the places named makes no sense. The attendance will be beyond poor and USC will stand to lose even more money. Columbia or BR should be the only options.

I believe the problem with Atlanta is Georgia State has a game in the Georgia Dome and the Falcons play one the next day. UGA would probably be a better option.

SC has a glimmer of hope at a neutral site. That changes to guaranteed loss if you bring it to TS. That's gotta be the only hold up. LSU has told SC that they can host it.

Now we're hearing about random neutral sites that make zero sense.

Update: 9 a.m.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department officials said they are searching for two people who went missing after a truck carrying five people drove through a road barricade.

Lt. Curtis Wilson, a sheriff’s department spokesman, said deputies responded to the 2100 block of Congaree Road after the truck drove through a barricade. The truck was then swept away by flood waters.

Three of the truck’s occupants made it to safety, while two were still missing Wednesday morning, Wilson said.

Wilson said Richland County Sheriff’s Department dive teams are in the area searching for the missing people.

Update: 8:45 p.m.

Richland County offices re-opened Wednesday, but officials cautioned employees not to return to work if it would put them at risk.

In the county, more than 100 roads and bridges were closed because of flood damage on Wednesday morning.

The county requested patience among residents because it will be operating on limited staff.
