I mean once you get outside of 2-3 of columbia nothing else makes sense. They wont make any money having the game in birmingham.
Clearly if stadiums within a 2-3 hour radius of Columbia arent available (and it looks like that is probably the case) then BR has to be the choice.
Thats how I feel. That's why I think jacksonville isnt a great choice. It still will require most USC fans to get a hotel the night before too.

Seems like it's either Columbia or BR, with a small outside chance at Jacksonville. Correct?

In my uninformed opinion, Columbia is pretty much out and it's either Jacksonville or BR. Seeing that Jacksonville reached out to USC, they have everything in place to host the game.

We can take the loop in case there is an accident.

My hotel room in Charlotte could still pay off.

I have until the day before the cancel the reservation with Hilton, so no worries there.

This would just absolutely blow my mind if they decided to have it there. Makes zero sense for either fan base.

Option 1: Columbia with gametime moved. LSU fly in and out same day
Option 2: Neutral site (Charlotte out; Jacksonville in)
Option 3: Columbia as scheduled
Option 4: LSU
This is what USC is looking at. Which is most likely would be a different order.

I don't care either way. I understand that this isn't about LSU, or us fans, and Im ok with that. But the "info" has come from so many sources that it seems that LSU knows and has known it will be here. Maybe I am completely wrong, just seems that way.
Either way, let Tanner have his time. Its an inconvenience for us traveling fans, but we more than most should empathize with the gravity of making that call.

There would be less than 20k fans if they have it in Jacksonville

It is funny how such a fuss is being made on a game that will probably be a 3-4 touchdown blowout.
While we might be capable of winning by that much, you forget that Les Miles is still our coach. He doesn't like to run up the score.

They're going to secretly play the game at legion field at midnight on Saturday.
that might be more dangerous than columbia

Is Memphis being considered as well?

He probably posts it here, sees what kind of response it gets, and then tweets it.

There were a few places reached out to and a few (like shreveport) that said they would be willing to host. Not sure where memphis falls.
