So the rest of the SEC is going to be happy about LSU getting 5 home games this season?
I would hope before anyone would comment about this they would remember we weren't allowed to play our "tune up" game the first week of the season.
In reality most sensible people realize this is just a football game and the other issues in South Carolina take priority at the moment, no matter where the game is played or how that may benefit one team over the other.

So instead of the future home game in Tiger Stadium 7 years from now it then goes to Columbia. That doesn't affect the scheduling at all for the rest of the SEC
LSU wouldn't agree to play 5 conference road games in a season. Therefore, the schedule would have to be changed.

Cloninger (@DCTheState) on @1045espn's #AFR: "You're probably looking at first thing Thurs morning, or 9-10pm Weds when decision is made."

Majority of LSU will have already left for Columbia by then. Why are they making this process so difficult?

That's just not right, but what can we do?

That sucks for people who have travel plans on Wednesday.

I'm in Savannah for the week and was planning to head to Columbia Friday am :/

He pretty much just repeated the time frame that the AD had set. He has no info.

What would the process be for tickets if the game was held at LSU.. Is their any standard protocol out there to give some insight?

I'm sorry, but we can't release that information until the announcement is made.

How does discussing these issues change the flooding situation? I mean people shouldn't be overly sensitive that business has to continue. No one wants people to be affected by natural disasters, but the world can't just stop. It obviously just a football game, but there is also a lot of financial responsibilities tied to the events and just taking a loss on top of what has already been affected by the weather is not helpful at all. I mean at some point there has to be a line that it is acceptable to deal with multiple things.

So then we get screwed out of an actual home game? Not gonna happen.

Have we discussed the BRPD email yet? I'm not going through this whole thing

This means Columbia is still a legitimate option IMO.

If the roles were reversed, I wonder how many here would prefer the game be moved to the SuperDome instead of South Carolina?

Yes some shut it down because the email had a grammatical error.
