tbh. I always loved Les. I was fine going 8-4 every now and then with that guy at the helm. He was a class act.

He’s undoubtedly going to come back to coaching...

I’d make him a deal RIGHT NOW to be our HC for whenever he is ready to come back, he has a job.

Let’s get a real HC at our program

This is a rough and tough business. There are a few coaches out there with integrity. Most we would describe as losers. Not going to bad mouth a dude that was successful in this business, just c’mon. The virtue signaling needs to stop here, this is College football...
yep. Look, I'd love for all my coaches and players to be choir boys, but that's not reality. Many great leaders, whether in sports, business, military, etc., have issues. Hell, we're all imperfect - we're human. It's all about where you draw the line.

And let's be honest, even those coaches that appear squeaky-clean, probably aren't.

Meyer does seem to have some serious ethical issues, at least with recruiting some really bad people at UF and of course the Zach Smith issue at OSU, but I'd at least CONSIDER him to coach my team. His level of success is just off the charts.

17-6 at Bowling Green
22-2 at Utah
65-15 at Florida
82-9 at Ohio State

Saban has about as much "integrity" as Meyers.

I personally don't care about his "integrity", all good coaches cheat! Any fan that thinks otherwise is our of touch with reality. All major programs have "internal" issues that are kept inside. It's why programs have less talented players on the field when they have a stud at the same position. Often the fans don't know that the stud has failed a drug test or some other secretive issue and the coaches want to protect the player and his image. Please don't think LSU and it's players are exempt from this.

UM is maybe the 2nd best coach, and I say maybe only because it's opinionated but I think he's better than Saban. Saban was nothing special when he was at Mich. St. Go look at his records. With less talent, he was turning in seasons just like many coaches. UM has had top-rated offenses and been a winner EVERYWHERE he's been, even before UF. If his health permits and if he ever decides to get back into CFB, any school looking for a head coach at that time would be plain silly not to try to hire him.

Orgeron is nothing special and outside of recruiting, what does he truly bring to the team? He isn't a mastermind of offense or defense. Most good/great head coaches know one side of the ball and hire an opposite coordinator for the other side. Orgeron could literally coach an entire game without ever wearing a headset, he doesn't run offense or defense. However, he is a glorified D-line coach and our D-line is nothing special.

He left Florida with 2 National Championships in 6 seasons. That's twice as many Natty's as Florida had in the previous 100 years.
