Harris is exciting to watch, but solely on the basis of what I've seen in the games ( I don't see practices) , AJ is the better QB.
Harris obviously is the better arm and has greater upside, but he has a LOT to learn ( starting with play book). Have you guys forgotten how lost Harris was in the Whisky game?
And the poster who suggested Harris going thru his progressions out there is totally clueless. Harris evinces only the crudest ability to read defenses.
I hope Harris learns quickly, b/c LSU needs his arm, but he has a way to go to be a QB, as opposed to an arm, no matter how impressive.

I keep hearing Harris doesn't have a great grasp on the playbook, which seems odd because pretty much everyone knows LSU's playbook.
I chuckled...

Did y'all see the punishment AJ took last night?
Not really.

I could see sitting Harris if their was a less talented sr that had a great understanding of the offense but Jennings is a sophomore and it's obvious who is the more talented player

What is so difficult. 1-10 gut run, 2-8 gut run, 3-7 deep ball or QB keep the same chit since Miles hams been at LSU with the exception of 2013 & 2007. Without a good OL the results will be the Sam. Big 10 offense

I'm sure he'll look great handing it off to the running backs in garbage time.

Who was calling the offense when Harris was chucking the ball all over the field?

I call bullshite on this. Jennings has had four games to improve, and NEVER looks at but one receiver, EVER. If Harris goes through a progression of TWO receivers, it is better than what we fielded in this game. Exciting play from Harris may just be what we need. Sure is better than not knowing when to make a decision.

Don't confuse game planning with desperation
