Gal from St Lucia had great start off the blocks and kept lead from beginning to end. She lives and trains in US and went to U of Texas. Richardson was favored to win, especially since the top 3 runners from Jamaica scratched. Richardson always has slow starts off the blocks, and it cost her the gold.

Alfred looked hyper-focused from prelims all the way through. Sha carri looked a little nervous and unsure after Alfred smoked her in the semis. Not saying she was nervous but appeared that way to me.
