Kramer is an automatic out? He's hitting everything on the screws... just at people

So you're ok with the lead off hitter being an automatic out today?
No. I'm okay with Watson staying where he is. I didn't say anything about KRob. Move Watson and he doesn't protect Deichmann. Move Watson to leadoff and his approach changes. Move Watson to leadoff and pitchers approach him differently. Is that what you really want to do to our hottest hitter?

The talk of Poche throwing today is exactly what he did last year in the regionals

He hasn't done shite since he was 12. I see CPM is going to stay stubborn.

I want the lead-off hitter to get his arse on base. Whatever it takes. That is critical in scoring runs today. We cannot go 1-2-3 today.

Poche'?

if he's not added to the card before the plate meeting with the umpire, he's not available

Oh? People getting on base is important to score runs? Interesting theory...

It really isn't all that nonsensical. He could probably throw an inning if needed. However, letting him rest is smart. We have enough arms to get through this game, provided they pitch well and our bats come alive. Anything can happen. If we get past today, Poche is that much more ready for another start. We need all hands on deck from here on out. That includes our bullpen.

To be fair, the pic in the OP isn't the card to be turned in. So he could be on the official card.

I don't see what you gain by leaving him off the lineup card.

On the card he can play or not play.

Off the card he can not play period.

I would have him on the card just in case.

Insider info tells me he keeps starting Jordan specifically to piss off one "geauxruston" who posts on tiger droppings

He shouldn't be.

If you are trying to win it all you have to save him for the championship series. The "cant win the championship unless you get there" argument is flawed. At some point the guys we don't want to throw are going to have to throw.

you have to win this game. Period. He can throw 20 pitches today and still be ready monday to start.

In no way was I advocating Robertson be benched but I thought he should definitely move down in the lineup. He's not even making pitchers work. A lead off hitters job is to get on base by any means necessary. Not hack at pitches in his eyes.

This also could be based off Poche saying his arm doesn't feel great.
