When your lead off man is 1 for the whole series , yes he needs to move down . Watson should lead off , anybody including the ball boy or girl should be batting in Jordan spot

This also could be based off Poche saying his arm doesn't feel great.
True. We don't know the dynamics there.

Poche is definitely warming up, or at least stretching.

That could mean nothing. Pitchers are daily routines. They never have an "off" day.

Watson is filling a very important role of protecting Greg Deichmann (meaning pitchers can't just walk D to get to a lesser hitter)

CPM or 1 of the assistants need to tell Robertson to calm down, take a a pitch or 2

At some point the guys we don't want to throw are going to have to throw

I'd rather that be in game 1 of the championship series where it's not win or go home like today is.

Poche'?

if he's not added to the card before the plate meeting with the umpire, he's not available

I bet he gets added

Wish they would switch 7-8

And if that doesn't happen?

Then we go home. I don't think Poche, in short relieve, would be the difference in this game if our bullpen isn't throwing well and we can't hit.

The lineup card that Paul hands to Pat before the game will have every player on the roster printed at the bottom. That includes guys they didn't make the travel roster. Those are printed and ordered the hundred long ago.

If we aren't throwing well but hitting well, I think we see him. Up 6-4 in the 7th and I think he throws.

I would go with

1) Smith
2) Cole
3) Dups
4) Deich
5) Watson
6) Kramer
7) Pap
8) Coomes/Beau
9) Slaughter

Kramer doesn't have to lead off to break out his slump. Smith also has a higher OBA than Kramer.

not necessarily... every coach does things his own way

he could be handing in the very card in the OP's pic

Funny how we have never seen Strall but he has CWS experience.

The card in the OP is about poster sized. It's what the coaches use during the game to keep up with both teams lineups and changes.

very true... didn't realize that

point still remains that the coaching staff... as of the time of the pic being taken... doesn't see Poche' as an option in today's game
