Mytigger - is the coaching staff and AD's office so insulated from public perception and clueless or do they just not give a frick?

Dodd - I don't think they are but I'm not talking to them directly.
LSUNV thinks this is a smokescreen. I hope he's right. I'm not a huge CP fan, but I'd rather take my chances with him than get Stoops. Les likes Steele a lot too - a lot - and has since the beginning of this thing.
We'll see how it plays out... you gotta figure Les has got $5M/year on the line. He's going to make the best possible decision. He's got a pretty good - not great, but good - record of hiring coaches so we've got that going for us.

mytigger's source seemed to say that Steele was a top candidate. Right behind cp. But insiders have said Steele was never contacted. That for me put a huge hole in what you've been saying.
No one has gotten word of this secret candidate but you it appears. I find it hard to believe that you who haven't even named your source, knows more than people who are paid to get this info.
