If the ad has given him a budget and brick is staying it may have made cp unattainable. If cp wants Bebe and that's the hold up with him? and alleva won't by brick out and has told miles that. His hands may be tied to who he can get with his budget. I am not always a miles pumper but if the high ups cap him with money he may be stuck. If he is I would just prefer Bebe over stoops

Just spoke to a source and I feel pretty good about saying that Stoops was not offered the job.
It wasn't laid out that definitively but connecting the dots and the vibe makes me feel that way.

Jeez people, chill. You do realize that Miles can't just appoint a new coordinater, right? There's a reason it's called a "negotiation". Miles will try to get the best man available from those willing to take the job for what LSU is willing to pay. Time is the enemy and a poor choice could have long lasting impact. The pressure on Miles is enormous so cut some slack & allow him to survey the whole field before the lynching.

This is so dumb. If Emmeret had thought this way then no way does he hire the Michigan State coach in 1999. You hire the best all around candidate and trust they will adjust to their surroundings.
