I didn’t say you’re a bad guy, I said the thread title was douchey. And it is. And misleading.

Or another note, besides calling attention to yourself...why /what purpose are you stating all of this on the forum. You do have some form of agenda...why?

I honestly am doing nothing but posting news I think many will miss because they see "tennis", but I think the tennis side of things will be one of the biggest factors in the ncaa case, and I have knowledge to give to this board

If that angers some, or they dont want to read it, I am not offended if they dont want to read the thread

If this is accurate, the news will eventually come out..does not anger me...I just feel all this is quite unnecessary at this point. But you do have a reason/purpose whatever is driving this. If I were the Admin, it would have been tanked a while back.

And that’s why we are all glad you aren’t an admin

Tanking threads with actual links, facts, and details should never be tanked just because it’s bad news. That’s for other shitty sites

Misleading and deceptive thread titles are a very common cause of thread anchors.

Your thread title is absurd.

Sure. Let's lay all of the blame on the tennis program and not the football players who were beating these young women.

Obviously, the tennis coach failed these ladies as well, but let's not pretend the football players committing domestic violence isn't the bigger issue here.

Who is absolving the football players? I don’t see anyone shedding a tear for Drake Davis. I don’t see anyone arguing that we should be supporting the players who beat young women.

What I do see is people ripping Julia Sell, rightfully, for failing to report these allegations numerous times. If she hears that a football player has been abusing one of her tennis players, her job is to report it to compliance - not to Ed Orgeron, not to Mickey Davis, not to Derek Ponamsky.

If she reported these allegations to the Title IX department and they chose not to act, that’s one thing. If she told the football coaches and they told her to cover it up, then the football coaches are complicit as well. But it’s not clear that either of those things happened. As of right now, she’s the one who looks the worst in this situation (outside of the football players themselves).

You are spouting assumptions...who told you as fact that a LOIC is forthcoming?

Yes, her biological dad left when she was born. It's not that his name is unmentionable. I can tell you this, he is from California.

Tells us that name isn't unmentionable....then doesn't mention name. What kind of random cryptic shite is this?

First abuse happened in may 2017, the same time at which Jade Lewis was competing for the team at NCAAs

I'm not disagreeing with this, but if this is the case than the abuse would have initially occurred literally within the last two weeks she was on LSU's tennis team, because she definitely turned pro following the 2017 NCAA tournament (tournament was May 13-28) and was playing tennis in Australia and the middle east following that. Her Wiki page even confirms some of this. That USA article doesn't mention that fact, making it sound as though the abuse was more prevalent during her LSU tennis career.

Like I said, it's a complicated situation. I'm on Lewis' side in regards to the abuse and believe Davis should be in jail but I'm not on board with her blaming LSU based on the information I've received.

I dont blame LSU for the abuse she received, at all

I blame LSU for the way they handled the entire situation. From the Sells, to Nunez, to Alleva, to King, to Verge.

I didn't see him mention the alleged abusers in his list of things that were going to be the downfall of LSU football

Looks like bye-bye Woody...we hardly knew ye.

Hiring a coach who behaves as the media has portrayed sell, in itself, is lack of IC. I think LSU is going to get a punishment that will render them the SMU of the SEC.

Institutional control implies more than a single sport with irregularities. Football with obj and the cash, title IX issues with football and tennis and a strong offer from men’s b-ball. Not a good look for a flagship university...

You do realize Woodward hasn’t hired any of the coaches involved in any Title IX or have you been in a coma for 4 years?
