As a 3 year starter at ASU, Daniels threw for 6,024 yds, 32 Tds, 13 ints and completed over 64 percent of his passes. But many on here has label him as a running Qb and even compared him to Jordan Jefferson. Nuss started 1 game and looked completely lost in that 1 game and after he and dad publicly called for him to start against Arkansas they declined to let start or even play in the bowl game leaving LSU without a Qb. But yet many of you are calling for Nuss to be the starting Qb despite having no experience and last season theatrics. As usual there are always a hidden agenda, an unlining reason why but rather than state the obvious they would rather throw a rock and try to hide their hands.

It’s hard to make your argument convincing when your grammar and spelling are that of a ten year old.

Im not going to go as far as playing the race card like one idiot did.. but there's something to this.

Probably LSU's history with DT QBs.

Guys.. relax.. we have offensive coaches who know what they are doing now. JD is going to absolutely ball out with all of these playmakers. Hes never had this kinda of talent and coaching

STFU. The only thing anyone cares about is having a playmaker behind center. Not just a competent bus driver but a playmaker. Leave your racial bs in the closet. If you're good no one will complain. If you suck everyone will complain. It won't matter what color the qb is.

The uncomfortable truth is that black QBs have to earn their support with their play on the field from LSU fans. They not going to support Daniels until then. Thats why you're getting the typical lazy narrative of comparing him to Jordan Jefferson, Harris, and Jennings when his stats dont even compare to those guys. They will try to mask their stance by stating they supported Rohan & Jamarcus 15-20 years ago... when they probably didnt support those guys neither until they started to perform well on the field.

And the OP is 50 years too late to the "black QB" party. That may have been a thing 50+ years ago, but the entire nation has moved far, far, far beyond that.

LSU fans loved Herb Tyler, Jamarcus Russell, and Rohan Davey. Why? Because they were good.

We didn't like Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings. Why? Because they were bad.

No other reason.

There have been a lot of dumb takes regarding him being a "running QB"

Burrow had 128 and 115 rushing attempts his two years here. Daniels had 138 and 125 his two full years (2020 they only played 4 games)

For reference, Lamar Jackson had 163, 260, and 232 rushing attempts his years at Louisville. Nick Marshall had 172 and 153 at Auburn. Jalen Hurts had 191, 154, and 233 his years as a starter (last one at OU). Tebow had 210, 176, and 217.

He can run but he doesn't take off running as much as people think. He still looks to pass first
