I dont have a problem with college players getting paid; like it or not there is no stopping that train now.. what i DO have a problem with is that there is no salary cap.. the NFL has a cap and it gives teams from small markets like New Orleans, Green Bay, Buffalo et al the exact same chance to win the Super Bowl as teams from Chicago, New York , San Francisco and on and on…. I dont want to hear “blah blah socialism !” .. b/c we aren’t talking about the real world, it is only sports, people.. so competitive balance is essential for the health of the sport, and we absolutely need a salary cap for these college players .

If there was a salary cap, they would just find another way to hide payments

No . I am relieved . The ROI ( return on investment ) is 50:50 . And you are spending over 10 mill on one high school kid . You have to be crazy . The money needs to go into the team . Jaden did a helluva lot of practice before the senior year with the two LSU receivers in Cali . They stayed at his house and practiced . The magic did not happen by itself . There was alot of blood , sweat tears and discipline involved .So , spend the money on the recruits , team concept .
