Games that pissed me off were losses to lesser teams right after great wins, literally sucking the life out of great momentum. 1982 was a great year for this, it happened three times:
First, we tied a pretty crappy Tennessee team (I was there) in Tiger Stadium the week after we beat a really good Florida team on the road. Then, we lost to Miss St a week after ending the lifelong losing streak to Alabama, in Birmingham no less by beating Bear Bryant no less. Then, as someone mentioned earlier, we lost to Tulane a week after beating FSU.

Two years later, we lost to MSU (thank you, John Bond) a week after beating Bama in Birmingham.

1987 Alabama-our only loss that year during the game they filmed scenes for Everybody's All-American at halftime.

Two others that really pissed me off:

1997 Ole Miss loss a week after beating Florida
2007 loss to Kentucky a week after beating Florida

Just getting absolutely blasted by UAB in round 1 the year before the final four run... that game was miserable

Also, the UC Irvine hidden ball trick "out" in the 2008 Supers, how an ump can call an out with his back completely turned without asking for help I still get pissed about (obviously we still won the series, but man I was fuming after that one)

its funny how winning a champinship takes the edge off of games

the 2011 NCG sucked. Maybe the worst night of my life. Probably the worst night of my life. ... It was the worst night of my life. BUt it isn't as bad because I am not longer sitting around wondering if we will ever win another one?

Easily the worst night of my LSU fandom becuase I was at a party at someone else's house, most of the douches there were not interested in the game, and afterwards, I didn't want to stay but wife did....I had to resist the temptation to throat punch several people..women included...who were trying to make cute, snarky remarks after the game.

The bliss we experienced though after the Clemson beatdown finally erased that horrible memory from my head.

There are a lot I can name, but I am just throwing this one out there.

Anyone remember when we played Troy.. 2008, 2009ish. We were losing the whole game and then came back in the 4th to win it? The weather was horrible it was just a shite game.. Of the many frustrating games under Miles that might have been one of the most frustrating.

I have avoided losing any major loved ones to date besides a grandmother when I was quite small.

But yeah as far as my measure. (other may put some events ahead of it)

Losing to that shite Florida team in 2012 that eventually cost us a Sugar bowl. UF needed a last second touchdown to beat ULL later that year.

2001 Auburn vs. LSU Football - Auburn Kicker Damon Duval tries to fight the LSU band after halftime

2019 Vandy vs. LSU Basketball - The Free Will Wade game, LSU AD Joe Aleva boo'd out of the arena

2006 LSU @ Auburn Football - The waived off PI call in the endzone at the end of the game was a heartbreaker that I witnessed, That was a special team, and we found out the following year

All of the Les Miles clock management debacles and play calling blunders, don't need to mention specifics, too many to count

2002 ULL vs. LSU baseball - NCAA Regional Final - Near brawl as ULL intentionally hit Heath, then Aaron Hill slung his bat in the ULL dugout. Annual baseball series with ULL was suspended for years after

Sometimes things just rub you the wrong way, even if it doesn't have quite that effect on others.

The 2006 Final Four national semifinal game was that "thing" for me. I felt that the effort and intensity wasn't there, relative to how big a game it was (i.e., UCLA was more physical, hustled more, seemed to "want" it more).

My wife, who I've known for 16 years, still says that's the angriest she's ever seen me so, for me as an LSU fan, that's my personal "underrated angry LSU moment".

LSU vs. Ohio St. 1988

There were whispers of challenging for a national championship. Bobby Olive ended that. I actually got physically sick.

Underrated but it always irked me when spurrier would make us wear purple in Gainesville in the 90s and the skull drag us up and down the field.

Jarrett Lee’s pick 6’s against Bama & AU.

POS UF LB that punted the ball after a pick six.

Losing to Tennessee in 2005 after: being up 21-0 at half, they brought in their backup qb (Rick Clausen who transfered from LSU), game being moved to a Monday night, playing a home game at Arizona State, and not getting a bye week all year. That team was exhausted by the end of the season. Would’ve been nice to see what they could’ve done in a “regular” season. After finally resting, they pounded the #9 Hurricanes 40-3 in the bowl. I’m not angry, but yea, that Tennessee game...
