He isn't going be any more likely to make a roster by coming back. As a rookie punter, he will have to earn it in training camp no matter when he leaves.

Several people on here know me. I don't care about that. I don't want to get banned and I don't want to get my source in trouble. The admins got pissed at me and deleted my posts when I posted about the Ford/Jones academics issue.

there are only three reasons he wouldn't play in the bowl:

1. academically ineligible
2. suspending for a violation of team rules
3. he quit

4. Visa issues?

Not sure if he was redshirted or not. Don't think so because he played a game or two.

He played and didn't redshirt.

I dont understand why more punters dont leave early then.

La Tech's punter won the best punter award two years in a row. Why didnt he go pro early? Obviously he is better

He sucked this year.
LOL, he didn't suck. He just wasn't historically amazing like last year.

The relative lack of production will not keep him from getting drafted. Rumors about his work ethic might.

Simon is making a big mistake if this is true.

Because they aren't as good as Wing, despite a relatively down year.

He should have IMO. Maybe he just loves Ruston, haha.

Wasn't he one of the fellas along with ware and mathieu to be suspended for the auburn game last year? I'm not suggesting discipline issues is the real reason, I'm just saying it's a possible factor.

There's no way he should leave early with what he's shown so far. Compare him to Mo leaving early, and Simon looks like a clown.

Not saying I think he should leave, but to be fair almost every college corner looks like a clown compared to Mo.

Half of our team has kids. Reid does, Simon does and I believe Wing has one on the way.

Why would Wing leave? He's going to be making league minimum no matter what, right?

why not make it now rather than later

Financially speaking, I don't think Simon comes from as strong a background as Reid and Wing.
