Unbiased view on Daniels vs Nuss. Along with my prediction for QB in 2023.

Daniels:
Experience and dual threat ability gives him the inside track on being the QB for LSU in 2023. With that being said he has GOT to process defenses quicker in this upcoming season and improve on his passing game as a whole. His arm is very talented and if he can improve that part of his game he will be sitting in New York as a Heisman finalist next season.
Seems lots of fans forget the success he gave us last season and the stretch of @Florida, vs. MISS, vs. ALA was incredible. Legit national title contender worthy play from him there.
Nuss:
Legit gunslinger and one of the most impressive arms I’ve seen in an LSU uniform, seriously it’s that good. Interceptions are a serious issue along with decision making as some balls he throws makes you scratch your head. The potential with Garrett is undeniably there and if he cleans up interceptions he can be one of the best QBs in all of CFB.
Prediction:
I truly believe Daniels will be the starter for LSU in 2023 and will prove how actually good he is. I think seeing Garrett in the SECCG and than again vs. Purdue Coach Kelly will have him (Daniels) on much more of a shorter leash and I expect Garrett to see the field at some point.
All in all this LSU 2023 roster has the makings of a special, fun team and I believe in the staff and both of these QBs to get us to 11-12 wins and the CFP.
Having two really good QBs is such a great thing especially in the SEC.

No need for a prediction as there is no competition. Daniels is the starter, and that's ok.

I’ve been told we should blindly trust every decision CBK makes because he’s a paid professional and isn’t capable of being wrong. Let’s keep Polian and bring back JD, who cares if we run off Walker and Nuss right?

Why do you think Walker would have stayed if we handed Nuss the Job?

Did CBK ask you to trust him? He doesn't require your trust. And what do you think you're trusting him with anyway?

Walker did not want to run scout team for another year, he wanted to be at least on the same field as everyone else getting coached up. He left because he was going to be QB3 again behind JD and Nuss

So you’re saying he would have had no problem
Sitting behind nuss for 2-3 more years, but left because he was going to be 3rd strong for 1 year.
THINK. Use logic.
Walker did.

Kirby Smart is a paid professional too. He also was wrong to continue starting bum-azz Jake Fromm over Justin Fields. I live in Atlanta and UGA fans AND fans of just about every other college team could see that even with limited playing time, Fields was waaay better than Fromm. Fromm continued to suck and Fields transferred to Ohio St. and shined. Again, Kirby is a paid professional.
CJ Stroud (44), Bryce Young (47), and Caleb Williams (42) have each thrown just about as many TD's in their 1st full season as the starter, than JD5 (49) has thrown in his combined 4 years as a starter. Let that sink in.

When you put it that way I think we should fire Kelly and hire Lane
Who's with me?

Nuss threw 4 picks in 84 attempts this year
Young threw 5 in 380
If we had a Bryce Young, CJ Stroud or Caleb Williams on this team I guarantee He would start over Nussmeier and Daniels.

Nobody cares. Let THAT sink in. "Jayden is QB1".
Read the OP! "blah blah blah .... if .... blah blah .... sitting in New York as a Heisman finalist"
You're pissin in the wind posting stats about QBs throwing touchdowns around here. These people BELIEVE!
Sorry, man.

Do I think I could build a culture and run a program just as well as CBK? Of course not, but anyone with eyes who watched JD play this year and saw what Nuss did against UGA could see that the difference in the offense was night and day. How many QB’s are we going to run off because of JD? 1 is too many

And you think the coaching staff who work with them every day don't see that? Maybe you focus only on a few plays that you like but ignoring who is better overall
I think Joe Sloan and Denbrock definitely see that Nuss is the more capable passer, but CBK has an ego and for whatever reason, JD is his guy

Did nuss do that all year?

Nuss has thrown just as many pics as he has touchdowns this year. Yes he has a higher ceiling but he is FAR from reaching it. These idiots will never be happy. Nuss played one good half of football compared to an entire season where JD lead this patched together roster to a SECW Championship. They will always want the backup lol.

You are spot on although most don't want to hear the truth
