Thinking the same. Haven’t watched him play any before this series. He was so raw at LSU.

Cause Wade let Waters dribble the air out of the ball

Well, there was a time when most college players stayed 3-4 years in college to develop and people could see who eventually became the better players. It was much better for college ball too. The one and done has been a disaster.

He had an nba type game in college.

This board would hate when he would try to shoot a 3 but he knew what he was doing. he hit 40% this year. Also active on the boards in college and in the NBA.

Clearly paid off with 6th man of the year.

IMO wade reigned waters in a pretty good bit during SEC play.

When he got suspended Waters was back to that when benford was at the helm and that’s why it seemed so chaotic IMO in the tournament.

It hasn’t been a disaster for everyone. Naz definitely got better coaching and more development in the NBA while getting payed. Worked out pretty well for him. It’s working out pretty well for Anthony Edwards too.

Was at the BR City Club when Will Wade discussed recruiting Naz. He predicted this.
